Gretchen loves this stuffed purple gorilla. Poor gorilla is almost missing an arm.. She get's a little rough some times.

well of course he is.  Rotties like to dismember their prey! 
I haven't given ours any stuffed, easy-to-tearup toys in ages.  I had stuffing all over (including outside) and heads flying through the living room...and eyeballs in the couch...and limbs on the stairs.

Little Gretchen has that same look on her face as Betti does.  It's an innocent look as if to say, "Who me?  Why, I'm too bashful for that!"
