my dogs both took a poo last night in the middle of the night while i was half asleep and didn't ahve bags.....tonig ht, i just walked them and picked up their "fresh" poo as well as the old poo from last night. while picking up the new poo, i was not bothered....wh en i grabbed the old stuff, i felt my lunch coming up. so.....which way do you like it LMAO?????
-
You are too funny. I think the pungent smell of the new stuff is way more nasty than old stuff without a smell anymore. If I had a choice though I would prefer not to pick up either. :D
-
LOL odd question, but I would prefer the older stuff. For me it has either baked longer or its firmer HAHA so its easier to bag.
Oh god the mental pictures...
I totally agree with you!
-
I choose the kind that my husband picks up! Hehe! ;D
-
i just want to take a second and laugh at my spelling. it's actually worse with one hand....and i didn't know it could get worse
-
Old poo..much better! :D

Yep! I'm there. There are times I read back what I've written AFTER I've posted and just cringe! I remember someone asking why we don't have spell check on the postings....I'm down with that!!!
And, FDIL, I prefer old and cold as well. EWWW on warm and fresh!!!
-
YOU PEOPLE ARE KILLING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OLD AND COLD? ITS OLD POOOOO!!!!! ITS BEEN SITTING THERE AND HAS BUGS IN IT AND WHEN YOU TOUCH IT ITS COLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i understand it is easier to "pick up" when cold....i wait until the REALLY soft ones are cool so they stick together.....B UT CUMMON! ITS COLD! COLD POO! COLD POO!
COOOOLLLLLLDDD D POOOOOOOOOOOOO O! ugh, it's so gross. it you just hold your breath, you dont smell the new ones, AND, at leat they are fresh out the hole and dont have bugs and COLD on them!
oh now im sad.
-
I vote for cold!
-
I too like the kind my hubby pics up, with my 3 year old pointing it out to him.

Hmmmm......... ....I prefer the old dried up poos that aren't warm OR cold. They are room temperature. :D
I only need to pick up our poo once a week. So, I leave the really fresh ones, and pick up the dried up ones. Makes for much easier clean up.
BUT, if I had to pick it up shortly afterwards, I would go for the warm poo. Cold poo is always a shock to the system. :o :o :o
-
LOL!!! I love this place!! Where else can you have a conversation about warm poo vs cold poo, without people thinking you are crazy!!! Py the way I prefer the cold poo
-
If you're hungover it doesn't matter!
It's still POO!
I want my dog to be a Toyota Prius.
Feed it when you have to,
Clean up when you got to.
Hopefully not after a weekend of drinking!
-
Nick you're NUTZ!
But you're right!
I'd rather pick it up when has had a chance to 'jell'
Don't ever pick POO with a hangover, unless you're ready for projectile vomiting!
Is that graphic enough?

My poo picking technique needs much work!! Dog + Kids + backyard all day while I'm at work (I'm the DPP - designated poo picker), so I'll have to say the fresh poo is much easier to scrape from the bottoms of my kids shoes.

LMAO - Ladies, this is what boys are for. ;)
If I had to pick, I'd have to say the cold poo.
I'm feeling woozy thinking about it...

Cold for sure. Warm oozes through if you have a hole in your bag..lol

Warm or cold doesn't matter...solid or soft is the real issue!!
Carolyn

warm. reason: cold poop reminds me hot dogs in the fridge section of the grocery store... and i really like a good chi-town dog so....
-
cold because it does not smell

I totally agree with you here Carolyn. If it's soft and warm it has to bake for awhile before I touch it (unless I'm in the park and have no choice) but I usually wait till the next day or two any way. It's easier and doesn't s-m-e-a-r on the scoop when it's solid and cooler.

GAWD! I must have to say I count myself lucky, my babies SH** in the woods. Our land is surrounded by the lovely wooded areas that nobody frequents. 80 acres and it is ours, so we walk they SH** and I never see it! In 12 years I have never saw more than a few piles with training pups in the yard. Hubby did have a swearing fit yesterday as Cali crapped right off the porch. OUCH he stepped in it! If we go walking in "town" I prefer to pick up "old crap" the frsh stuff smells SOOOO BAAADDDD! :-\ :o :o :o :o
