Any cane corsos Llve in so cal?? This pic is 4 mo old cane corso pup named Romeo. I also have a two year old female of same breed. They are so sweet and very loyal.
-
I thought about owning one. I own a presa canario right now.
-
I'm here....Seattl e, Washington!
My Corso's name is Maximus del Morgan, Max for short. :) He's a wonderful dog, from Italy, out of Nuccio and Cleopatra.
-
Max is a great looking dog, very similiar to Orion, not as heavy and thick as some of the CC's I have seen. I prefer that look, and I think they are more agile and atheletic. I got Orion from a breeder in NJ 9 years ago.. Wouldn't trade him for the world!
-
In that picture, yes he's not as huge as they can get. BUT, that was a year ago and now, thanks to smoked ham hocks and good puppy food, he's put on weight! :)
I still agree that some of the huge lines of CC's are too huge, but Max is now at 105lb and that's as big as I want him.
Do you have any current pics of Orion?

I love cane corsos and plan to get one someday. They are not real popular, your'e right in that, but they are increasing in popularity.... ............no t sure if that's such a great thing, as I've heard corsos, along with filas are gaining interest in dog fighting rings. :-\
I've only ever seen one in person........ ............he was surprised I knew what his dog was.

This is Zeus. Gentle as a butterfly but stings like a bee. He is large for a CC (160+lbs) but is athletic. He's also the largest lap dog I ever owned.
-
Welcome! He is a good looking boy. And definitely a big guy for a CC :D
-
OMG!! He's gorgeous!

this ace and poppitt at 10 weeks old

Awwwe, they are adorable!
-
Too cute -- love the puppies! Bear is half cane corso but does not look very much like one.

On Dec. 10, our first CC will arrive via plane in Las Vegas. We live in So Cal so it is a short drive home.
CC #2 isn't born yet, so we are patiently waiting. #1 is blue, and #2 will probably be blue or black brindle.
Counting the days. :)

Oh COngrast! and Welcome....wha t beautiful babys!

Only 20 more days, yaaay!

I just adopted one from the shelter. He is 8 weeks in the picture. They put him as being a Neapolitian Mastiff but he didnt look anything like one. After much research I found he looks exactly like the Cane. He is the first Mastiff I have owned but love big dogs. We have had 3 rotties so far one is still living and is 8 years old. He is a little leary of Max (the puppy)
-
Very cute pup, so hard to tell at that age. Phelan was called a boxer, a staff, a pit...looked at little like your guy too ;)
-
Our pup was born today. She is one of a litter of eleven, and one of five girls.
She will come home around Valentine's Day.
Now she needs a name...
-
Waiting is not going to be fun, but the breeder is totally nice about communicating with us. We had pictures of mama before the birth, during the birth, and several of the day old pups.
One girl is a black brindle and we are hoping for that one, assuming she is healthy and not more suited for a protection dog than a housepet.
Now I have to figure out how to post pictures here so everyone can say AWWWWW.
-
Here is a picture of the female pups. They were born on Dec 21st. I like the black brindle.

I have only met 2 in person, one I spent a good bit of time with and he was the sweetest, the only problem he did not realize how big he is and tried to give me a hug and kiss as a greeting then sat on my lap. Ofcourse, I did not mind at all, the owner was a little mad because he tried to hug me, but I loved every minute of it. He lives with 2 Chihauhaus(sp) and one of them is the boss of the house.
-
Alpha dog here is a 9 pound Chihuahua/Doxie mix. It's great to know that there are some CC's out there who are ok with a tiny dog bossing them around. I have never seen one in person.
Here is a link to more puppy pictures.
