man.. nikki had the worst case of the hiccups this morning. it just would not go away. since i can't SCARE her, how do i stop it the next time?

i know puppies hiccup and mostly they go away as adults... and the mechanism is much like the human hiccups, etc... just curious. that's all..

Raven had them really bad as a puppy.  She still gets them when she has a growth spurt.  I just leave her alone when she has them.  It doesn't seem to bother her.   :)

yes they do tend to grow out of those.  Grace still gets em once in a while though.
I can't imagine what it would be like to have a huge dog hiccup.

why didn't i hear of this site when anassa was a puppy  ;D she used to have the hiccups all the time, every day and they would last for an hour or more and shake her whole body, they never seemed to bother her but it worried me and no-one knew what caused it for a long time, i finally found out it was because she was growing lol

i would have found out a lot sooner if i'd been a member of this community  8)
