It looks like this is the place to start...
I'm deanne and my dog is Argus.  He's not an official "giant" breed, but he qualifies by size  (just under 30" shoulders and 100+ lbs).  We're in southern California and look forward to some of the play dates with other gentle giants. :P

I found this website from an article on the dockdogs website and I'm really glad because I definitely have extra issues to deal with traveling with such a large dog.  Not to mention the added health risks on his joints, etc.  Looks like I'll be working my way through all the message topics...

Welcome to BPO. I'm Jenn, I have Abbi 1 1/2 Years (lab/golden mix), Molly 4 months (Saint Bernard). Your like it here. :D

Hi and WELCOME! Deanne and Argus!  We're from So. Cal. as well.  I have two Newfies:  Cowboy who is a three year old Landseer and Chester, an 8 month old brown.  Do try to come to the get together.  All the dogs are gentle giants and had SO much fun at the beach and at lunch at a dog friendly restaurant after.  The people were at least as much fun as the dogs!  We ARE crazy....but harmless!!!

Welcome, Argus is a reall sweetheart. 

I have 2 rescues. Harley a Lab mix she is 2 and Dilbert a Pyr mix he is 10 months.

I also have a rescue cat, Jolene and she is 4
