;D here is a funny picture of hugo and one of his new toys. it is a stuffed toy that looks like goober teeth! i have totally cracked up at him. he puts this in his mouth and walks around the house. giants are very much clowns.

you can go online to abc distributing and find it in there. you have to have a business name to be able to get a catalog, or you used to have to. also i think you might be able to find them in an online grooming catalog called pet edge. in the abc distributing you get a 2 pack of "grins".

Yes giants are clowns. I have a giant. His name is Winston. If you dont mind me asking what kennel is hugo from because he is the spitting image of mine and mine is also two years old. Hugo is such a stud. ;)

he is from schnauzerland kennel. actually hugo will be 3 in feb. he had 3 other brothers in his litter. i work at the kennel as a groomer and would love to hear from his brothers owners. we try to keep in contact with the new owners. it is easy to lose touch. do you have pics of your dogs??Â

I am kind of retarded when it comes to digital cameras. My boyfriend is going to post them when i get home today. I am so excited that we have another giant on BPO. They are the best dogs. Mine will be 3 in january, but he came from skansen kennel.

lol, yeh it cracks me up everytime he picks the toy up! now if he can resist chewing a hole in it. he does fine with plush toys but once the stuffing starts poking out-its all over with. nest thing i know there is white fluffy "guts" all over the place! lol~

Yay! I haven't been on in awhile and am so glad to see another Giant Schnauzer aboard! Welcome! He is a very beautiful boy. I have an 18 month old GS named Kaiser and he also is very much a clown. Never a dull moment though!

amberdoggoneit, hugo's daddy was from skansen and he has heavy skansen on his mom's side too. could be related somewhere down the line. and yes, they are the best! i just love hugo. he amazes me on a daily basis. wendy, thanks for the welcome! you are right never a dull moment with a giant. so far though hugo has not presented to much of a problem. i have been really strict on him and i expect alot from him. they are super smart, but you have to make them use their brains sometimes. they can be a bit stubborn (just a bit??? yeh right! :) i really try to not let him have any freebies-meaning he has to work for things like treats and such. it is very much an ego booster when people comment on how smart he is and how calm he is (they have never seen him ripping thru the house after a lazer pointer:) one lady said he was more well behaved than her kids! hahah!!
