I took Boo to a local pet store in my area this Saturday and what did I find to my surprise but a local rescue group there with a young female Great Dane. She's fawn and really underweight. Supposedly she's one or two years old and is only as big as Boo who is almost 7 months. She was really good and playful but according to the guy there, she'd been abused and has separation anxiety and should go to a home with another dog. If anyone is looking for another Dane the link is [www.homewardbounddogrescue.com] I really would have like to have taken her home right then and there, but Boo is in the adolescent puppy stage and this Dane may need something a little more low-key.
