Hi my name is Kristi and I'm new here...
I have an almost 8 yr. old Bullmastiff, Sampson.
I'm totally new to the message board community - so I'm learning as I go. If you have any hints or suggestions, I'm open to 'em!
I posted a few pictures, and my boy's story in paw-prints. I also have 2 cats and a 6yr old daughter, Gaby.
Looking forward to meeting some of you - it looks like a good group.

Hi Kristi! I'm Melissa. I have a 7 month old Giant Schnauzer named Dazy and a 3 year old Miniature Schnauzer named Ladybug. I also have a 7 year old daughter, Alyx. Welcome to BPO! It's a great place to hang out.

Welcome to the group! Everybody here is great! I'm owned and loved by two Newfies, Cowboy, a three year old black and white (Landseer) and Chester who is a brown almost-one-year-old. We are also harrassed by three cats and our four kids are all out of the house! (YIPPPEEEE!)

I am Amber and I am owned by 4 dogs. 1 giant schnauzer, 1 boxer, 1 doberman, and 1 wiem. I also have 10 morgan horses and 6 barn cats yea it is nuts at my house. Cant wait to see more pics.

Welcome to BPO! I am Lisa, owned by two Great Pyrenees. Sugar Bear is my 1 1/2 year old mommy's boy and Dixie Darlin is my 1 year old wild child. I can't wait to see lots of photos of your boy.

Hi Kristi and welcome to BPO. What a handsome boy Sampson is. Its such a great place to check in throughout the day when you need a smile, randomally pick a breed and look at all of the pics and read the post, and oh yea, its a great educational source as well. Other than that you will see a group of folks there to lend an ear (eye in this case) ]and help with all of the ups and downs that come with sharing our lives with are furry friends.
BTW, I am Jeff and I share my life with Stan my 10 week old american mastiff, Julie- a soon to be 2 year old rottie, and Steve a 2 and a half year old pug/jack russel.

Hey there Kristi! I'm Meredith and belong to Lucas, Daisy and Chip(my other half). They are 9 month old mixed breed puppies, and littermates!

I am owned by an almost 8 year old rotti Puck and a crazy 9 month old Vizsla named Farley.
I have a 5 yr old daughter who will be 6 in May.
I look forward to seeing more pictures.

We appear to have a similar families... Sam ins almost 8 & my daughter will be 6 in March.
We're considering getting another Big Paw - how did Puck take to the new arrival? How old was Farley when he/she arrived?

Puck was a little hesitant about Farleys' arrival at first. We had to have very supervised intoductions at first. My husband had Puck on his prong collar and leash and I would hold Farley and let Puck sniff him etc. We really wanted a girl pup, we were unable to locate one. I think it took a little longer b/c it was same sex for Puck to get use to Farley. We had just lost our female rotti Katie in May/05 and we got Farley the end of June/05. Farley was 8 weeks old when we got him and he was 11 pounds. Puck was a 136 pds--thus the very supervised visits.
After about a week they were much better and at about 2weeks later, they were able to be on the floor together running around. Puck actually started acting very motherly o Farley. Puck started licking Farleys face and ears. Farley would curl up with Puck when he was sleeping. Now they are the best of friends. Eventhough Puck still outweighs Farley by about 90 some odd pds...lol

Sampson is adorable and your daughter is absolutely GORGEOUS!
