it is never easy to say goodbye, esp to one so near and dear to our hearts, yet, it is the most unselfish act we as humans can do for our beloved k9 partners.

I'm so sorry that you have to go through this, my heart aches for you.  Please know that we are all here for you - anytime, and that you are doing the right thing for Samson.  I will miss the handsome old fella...

I am very sorry for the loss of your beloved Sammy - what a sweet and gentle face he has on your avatar.  It is such a tough decision but as so many others have said it is also one of the gifts we can give our lifelong friends.

As I'm sure you know - your memories and experiences with Sammy are all the more precious now.
