Hi,
I'm new to this site. I have two dogs one 8y/o female beagle and a 2y/o female puggle that I just adopted around Thanksgiving. Everything had been going good between the dogs until a couple of weeks ago when the puggle started showing some signs of aggression for my beagle. It seems to be a jealous thing for my attention and a food thing for treats or if something happens to fall on the floor or if even if I raise my voice to the beagle the puggle will growl at her and last night attacked her and bit her leg. I immediately scolded her and put her in her crate. This morning she growled alittle at her an again I told her no. Tonight after work I took them both for a walk and things have been going along pretty well; they are playing and doing there usual things. I plan on keeping a close eye and being consistant with her and trying to nip this in the bud. Am I handling this the right way? Any suggestions?Â
