Oh naughty, naughty, bad cat!!!

That sounds really nasty - What a mess - I hope everything is OK - I just re-read your post I was wondering why Angus did that but now I read that you think you hit him while sleeping.

Well he certainly is a beautiful cat but obviously not very good a sharing a bed!!

Seriously, I hope you are on the mend...quickly

Helpful Groups & Dogs in Need / Re: Echo found a home!
« on: March 16, 2008, 08:10:46 am »
Yeah Echo - I told my husband as soon as I saw the commercial I wanted that dog but I figured the whole world would have been jumping to get him.

So glad he found a home; kudos to Pedigree for the work they are doing.

I have to agree with everyone else - you do so much for so many other dogs; if this is what you truly want than you should go for it.  Also, when you say it would take space away from one rescue lets face it if a dog was in dire need of help you would help anyway.

I just read your latest post it seems like it is meant to be is the puppy close enough to go have a look?

And I thought my day was rough yesterday...lo oking at yours mine was a walk in the park!!

I don't know when...but you need to take care of yourself!  The pups and other critters need you and you can't be any good to them if you are sick.

I hope everyone is doing well after their surgeries and that you get some much needed rest.

You too Lorim2 (and of course I hope Marley is all better now also!!)

Congratulation s!!  We all know how you wanted another dog!!  And kudos to hubby for keeping his word.  I told my hubby about the challenge of finding a black dog, one different eye, etc. and that you had done it so now if anyone sees a

green and pink polkadotted, 6 leg dog, crate trained, obeience trained, good with kids, housebroken, who can pick up her own poop and clean the bathrooms let me know OK?

General Board for Big Dogs with Big Paws / Re: One for the dane lovers

I have that picture hanging directly in front of my desk at work, although it doesn't have any words - I would much rather hang that one but I don't think that is appropriate for a high school!!

Very funny!

PT Kennel - wow I feel like I drive an economy car next to your gas guzzling rig.

I drive a GMC Yukon which I love - I am always in the car and it is so comfortable and I feel safe.  My husband has a Nissan X-terra he has had it for 2 years and he really likes it although we are considering trading it on something a bit better on gas.  I doubt we will we are just trying to sound like we are saving money and the environment.

I can't tell you what to do about this particular breeder but I can tell you that when we were looking for a flat coat we ran into some very demanding breeders.  They wanted a letter or a phone call from our vet; histories on our other dogs and one wanted us to write an essay about what we expected our experience with a flat coat to be.

I wish more breeders were demanding and then maybe there would be less people obtaining dogs they aren't prepared for.

Best of luck - how exciting a new puppy!! :D

You are all so much better at these things than I am..I had nothing.

I never even thought to google Baron.   I really love at least 3 of the ideas

Barons...we rule (even though it rhymes with drool)
Life is a sport live it like a Baron
Power Pride Loyalty (with Barons in the center)

I also think Brilliant Bold Barons would work - we are probably the smartest team but definately not the most athletic - our high school was #57 in the whole country (something like 19,000 schools).   But athletically we are a small district so we only have about 35 kids go out for the team as opposed to some of our competition which has hundreds of kids to choose from.  Our standard joke among the parents is "well our kids may not make the pros but they can be the agents, accountants and lawyers for the pros".

Thanks again!

Randy

Hi everyone - I am the baseball mother in charge of the merchandise for the schools baseball teams (Varisty, JV, Freshman and Modified).

I am looking for a phrase, saying or message for the back of they t-shirts we sell.  I can't come up with anything an example would be: pride, power...Barons (we are the Barons).

Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Thanks
Randy and Harley (who loves to come to the games!)

Well I didn't weigh in today - we got back from a vacation in Florida late last night - I didn't eat terribly but definately ate more than I should so I'm not going to get on the scale if I see a gain even though I know it is justified I may lose my resolve to just get back to dieting so my next weigh in will be saturday

To all of you losers:

WEIGH TO GO!!! (get it...weigh not way)
