Regarding the supplements and kibble and dogs doing fine. The theory is that dogs may do fine short term on a nutritionally deficient diet the same way humans do fine, short term, eating primarily McDonalds and the like, but that it greatly reduces health in the long term.
Sort of like that old adage "you are what you eat"

Here is my girl Summer. She is now 9 months old, but I haven't put that many recent pictures of her on so there's one of her at 5 months, and a recent one of her running. What do you think...future lure courser anyone?

I'm new here, thought this might be a good place to say hi! Summer is my first Ridgeback and so far I'm having a wonderful time with her. I will be sure to tell all of my friends about this site. Summer has a Ridgeback Playgroup so maybe we can get a lot of Ridgeback people here:)

He looks pretty full breed to me, just not to "standard" with that extra white. Is he ridgeless? I've seen full Ridgies that look a lot like him. Here's a picture of my Ridgeback Play Group.
