I'm so sorry you have to rehome your goats !

Try the site http://www.homesteadingtoday.com and go to the goat and also to the Barter Board and list them there . TONS of great people with goat experience !

My Willow's mask never faded but he did pass away at only 6 years old so maybe that's why ?

Congratulation s !

I'll always have a special place in my heart for this breed , I was owned by one for six years , he was my best friend ! His name was Willow and he was a red & white also , only with golden colored eyes .

I got him in Alaska when my Dad was stationed up there . Willow's sire ran in the Iditerod , so he came from really strong working lines .

I found him very easy to teach tricks to . Very snuggly and easy going in the house . GO - GO - GO when he was outside , he used to love to just do circles around our house . Over and over and over again ! LOL He was pretty good at coming when called but I would never have trusted him off leash anywhere without a fence .

We really found a great outlet for his energy when my Mom bought him a racing harness and I started taking him out on bike rides . I never once had to pedal , just let him jog ahead of me , pulling me for miles . He learned left and right , stop , slow down , go faster , etc . It was so much fun !

I hope to have a sled dog team in the future when we finally get our place  :)

Softhug ,

I remember how excited you were to bring Bourdreaux home as a little puppy . I'm so sorry this happened  :'( But I can TOTALLY relate . We just went thru the same thing the day after Christmas with our 1 &1/2 year old Newfie . No warning . Just attacked me twice within one week . Thank GOD my children were not in the room (well , after the first time we didn't let her anywhere near the kids anymore) . There was absolutely no way I could ever trust her again , especially with my children  :'( I feel your pain and hope you can find him a wonderful home .

On ND's craigslist there's a black 2 year old Newfie girl named Molly . She's housetrained , not spayed , great with other dogs and kids ! She's FREE . The family is moving .

I might be able to help transport her if anyone's interested !

Landseers are newfies  :) There is actually a breed mostly overseas that is called a Landseer , but if your breeder has AKC registered Newfoundlands and Landseers in the same litter , then the Landseer just refers to the coloring (black on white) and in my opinion ,they're the most beautiful  ;D I'd take it !

Ugh , we have THREE ...... Late last summer my kids' turtle ate their frog , so we headed to the pet store for a new frog , and came home with three rats  ??? One is a black and white named after that Disney rat movie ... how do you spell it ? Ratatooie ? Then there's an albino my daughter named Cinderella , and then my other son picked out a hairless and named her Hunty ..... have no idea how he came up with that name . They are very tame but our's are still growing and keep wondering when they'll stop !
Plus , if one of my birds lands on their cage they try to knaw their feet off ! I had to move them to a seperate room .
They really freak me out .I have extra wiring all over their cage to make sure they don't get loose . haha I'm pathetic !  ;D

PS > When we were first married a house we rented became infested with rats .... so now I have issues !  :P

Wow , she's gorgeous ! Give her hugs , and Queen Sheba too  :-*
