Mixed Breed Pictures / Re: what kind of puppy?

The eye color too, I don't know very many pits with blue eyes...and it looks as though your new pup has the very blue eyes of a husky....but I am not sure how long the eyes can change color up to, and how old exactly your pup is...Good luck, and that is great that you persuaded your friend to keep them and place them rather than taking them to the pound.

Oh my adorable...I love puppies

Yes the two darker pups are brindle, the darker of the two is the male and he will be a black brindle, the other a wheaten brindle, we think...still not a hundred percent sure on that one.

Gintaro was born Sept 9/08, so 4.5 months old.  And yes he will be light, he will lose all the black that is on his back.  He will have a slightly black muzzle and around the eyes, and ears, but the rest is the wheaten or cream color.
We love him, and he is so all legs at the moment.  Growing so fast.

Thank you all for your kind words...we love them too.
Amy is a wonderful mom, she loves to lay with them and let them crawl all over her, I am sure that won't last for long, when they start to walk and see and hear, then she will likely be out of there.  They will become a bad foursome then....
I can hardly believe how fast they grow, it happens before your eyes almost, and they have changed color too, the black one is now gonna be a black brindle, and the two reddish girls are gonna be possibly wheaten, but they may still be red wheaten.  The girl with the white sock is definately a red brindle.
