Oh sweetie, I'm so very sorry to hear about poor Lou's passing.
I know firsthand how devastating this can be. Please know that you're in my thoughts as you grieve. I hope that soon, happy memories of Lou will help to ease your pain.

Oh my gosh, I'm so loving seeing everyone's "Paw Prints"! The dogs are all just beautiful and I want to love on them all!
And the shedding...Lor d, does it ever end?! We brush the equivalent of a good-sized puppy off of each dog a couple of times a week. And still we have drifts of dog hair along the baseboards!

Hi Marissa. Bless you for your work on behalf of these dogs! I have the same exact question(s) as Navarre!

Hello folks! I just joined here today. We have two GSDs, but no decent pics to share at the moment. My hard drive died a few weeks ago and I lost four years worth of pictures.
Yes, I've since started backing up on a regular basis...learne d *that* lesson the hard way.
Everyone's dogs are gorgeous!

Deezle has one ear that flops, which I think is just adorable! He's from a reputable breeder and registered...i t just never developed and his previous owners didn't worry about it as he was a companion animal. The same goes for us, we like a bit of character in our family members.
In answer to your question though, yeah, as a rule if you don't tape the ears by seven or eight months of age it's too late.
