Hello to everyone,

I have an alaskan malamute (female) she has 3 months now, i have a problem because she has this habit of biting my legs and although i stop her and give to her the toys to play she ignores them.

For her this is a form of playing but the problem is that her teeth at this age are very very painfull (i have a tatoo of her teeth on my legs :-))

Anyone has a idea of how i can learn to her not to bite my legs to play???

Anyone knows a good breeder of the alaskan malamutes from orlando?

First of all thanks for your replies,

My advantage is that i have a big yard but i need to put the fence around, regarding the digging habits of this breed i think that i dont have any problems with it (i think :-)

My big problem and i'm verry worried about it, is the type of weather that we have here in malta, in summer sometimes the tempreture reach the 40% degrees, so in summer for sure i need to leave the dog in a room with an aircondition or else i will find the dog like an egg burger if i leave him outside :-)

The more info you can send me about this breed the more i can be prepared especialy about the problems that they can cause. I'm keeping contact with the person in charge of the obbidience training here in malta so that to make sure the dog will be trained from an early age, i hope that will minimize the problems that you all have mentioned in your comments.

Thanks for your help, Josef.
