Introduce Yourself to the Forum / Hello!

Hi everyone!
We are new to this site, which I found by "googling" great danes and my zip code.
Below is a picture of my sweetie, Milo. He is 2 1/2 years old and my boyfriend and I adopted him about 2 months ago from a family who were moving from Las Vegas to Australia and couldn't take him with them. Their loss is our gain (in more ways that one!). This is our first giant breed dog, but I have been researching great danes for years and we finally found the perfect fit!
Milo is a total sweetheart. All he wants to do is hang out with the medium-sized dogs (that would be myself and AJ--his other human).
What I really need help with is any recommendation s about vets in the Los Angeles area. We live in downtown Los Angeles, and I know I can call vets and ask if they have giant breed experience, but I really would prefer a recommendation from someone who knows and loves their vet.
I am willing to drive! And Milo loves to go for car rides. Amazingly enough, I drive a Mini Cooper, and he climbs right in the back (with the seats folded, flat, of course) and lays right down! But it is a sight to see when we open the trunk door and out pops all 140 pounds of Milo!
