Is she getting enough exercise?

Well thats a good question with all her dog buddys hidding cause of the snow she hasnt been able to play and chase them around like she usuaully does... So that may have some admount to do with it too. Never thought of that until now.

Today while we was out she pulled out a snail shell from my garbage can, I guess she thought it was a bad timbit I didnt want... We have crate I call it her Kennel, she doesnt like the word cage or crate she goes and hides lol. We used to put her in the kennel all the time when she was pup, and then we started to leave her alone outside of it, it wasnt until just recently she has been getting into trouble by going into things and chewing it up. Last time she misbehave this badly it was because my hunny was helping a neighbour take out the dogs because her husband didnt want her to take out their Big Paw pet during the pregnancy, once we stop helping them she was fine again. Reason why I think its probably dealing with pregnancy or something dealing around it.My hubby dad is a butcher and suppose to get bones in for us, I hope its sooner then later, and hope it helps with the problem.

In January my dog had her first heat, caught us a little off guard, we didnt even notice it until a neighbour pointed it out she was keeping herself that clean... But since then she has been attacking the garbage can pulling out what every she would think was nice to chew on... But another thing has come along too Im 7 months pregnant we just started to bring in baby stuff in January too... My Hubby is getting upset and dont know what to do about it because we cant leave the house without her getting into stuff now and chewing things up... My Hubby thinks its was probably from her heat and she lost a few brain cells... I say its from the baby stuff comming in and she is getting jealous over the baby... We need help!!! If it gets any worse my Hubby is thinking of giving up the dog...

Its been a rough couple of days, but with my husband having an injuried leg and me still having to go to work its been hard trying to do the hour on the hour, but its seem she is getting closer to the door with the accidents.

It's okay people always mistake her for a male because I have a blue scarf on her now to match her eyes. LOL

Well, technically we was suppose to pick her up on July 13th when she turn 2 months old, but the mother's owners to them this was a surprise preg with their two dogs. They already had the limit of pets they could have in the household so when they said she wasnt breast feeding anymore and on solid foods we could take her, other wise if they didnt get them gone quick SPCA would take them because one of their neighbours rat them out. We didnt think it would effect how she would learn and train. Its bad enough they had to give up the father too. But thanks for the information, and I will take it slowly with her, even thou she is one smart pup. LOL

??? Coley, is a 7 weeks old puppy, she barely barks or even let us know when she has to go. The mother's owners didnt help much either because they let them go where ever they please in the house and when they got too big for the house they started to leave them outside in the yard. And I have been reading some of the posts on here about house breaking and potty trainning, hearing 2 months or 8 months to year... So does it depend on dog or is it more like trying to potty train a kid in a doggy outfit? LOL This is my first puppy trying to house break. I had Husky Wolf Crosses before but they stay outside in a kennel because my ex didnt like big paws inside so Im a first timer in this area.

Yes, she is only 12 lbs at 7 weeks turning 2 months old on July 13th, everyone that sees her says she is small for her age, her brother the runt of the litter is twice the size of her right now and he was born the day after too. She was 1 out of litter of 9, there was 3 sets of twins and 3 odd balls; she was one of the odd balls lol.

Her name is Cole or sometimes we call her Coley, her mother parents named her that because when she was born she was almost pitch black as coal and has a C on her chest. And we just stuck with it because she answers to it. LOL

Hey, just new to the board. Just became an owner of a 7 week old Husky Cross puppy. She is mostly black with white and greyish under lay and markings, she is the one in the middle of my photo. Her dad was a Husky/Malamute and her mother was a Husky/Shepherd. So it makes me wonder how she'll turn out, so far she is small for her age only 12 pounds soaking wet and she wasnt the runt of the litter;  :D the runt of the little is already sitting at 23 pounds, we keep in forum of what her siblings and parents are doing. Our neighbour has a Husky/Shepherd, he is only 4 months and looks really big, Im hoping she is just taking after the Husky size.
