Old English Mastiff Pictures / New toy for the big boy

So what kind of toys do you buy for a giant dog?? The biggest you can find!
This is tuffzilla....t he 27 inch tall monster that Sam has claimed as his own. It's his buddy, he doesn't share with Gracey at all LOL. He is currently sleeping on it...I guess it makes a good pillow too.
Here are some pics!

I love when things like that happen. Its like a small victory in a way. Makes you feel good when they listen like that. Even though a big part of him was screaming ' OOOOOhhhh but I just want to chase it a little mom!!!!'

Meet Sam our 2 yr old English Mastiff male. We just rescued him on Saturday. Its been a loooooong wait for him. He started out his life spending 14 hrs a day in a crate with some backyard breeder. Then was surrendered to Consolida Mastiff Foster and Retirement Home in Dayton Ohio. He came in weighing 114 lbs. Hes doing better and gaining weight slow and steady. Normally they only adopt locally....but I worked my sad puppy eye charm and he came to live with us here in Ontario.
He is meshing in so well with our 3 yr old Cane Corso St Bernard mix.

I am just so happy I had to share with everyone. We finally have Gracey Lou and a food that makes her tummy happy. In the year since we have had her she has had throwing up/runny poop issues. Not to mention just downright not eating. She would leave food in her bowl for a day or two sometimes.
5 foods later, and now she eats EVERYTHING in her bowl and licks it too. She is on Orijen now, and we have cut out all processed treats. Just dried chicken breast now.
I have a very happy, gluten free furbaby.

YAY!!

Food Discussion & Information / Re: Do your dogs eat better than you?

100% the dog eats better then I do. Her kibble has higher quality ingredients in it then most of my food. I'm eating KD and Mr. Noodles to make sure she gets the best food I can buy for her lol. It's sad...but oh so true haha
