I haven't posted in forever! I love the changes to the site. I need help...My Marley has Wobbler's syndrome. She just turned one on May 18th. We have been doing so well. Gandalf even love's her now too! She was only 60lbs when we adopted her in January, and now she is up to 100! I was ever so careful to not give her too much nutrition etc. Anyway, this is the first time my vets have seen Wobbler's here in Po-Dunk Alaska. So I am looking for all the help I can get...

I hope this photo works! This is a photo of "Marley" the 7 month old Great Dane we just adopted from the shelter 10 days ago. She was severely under weight, but we were able to put 10 lbs on her in 10 days! Gandalf our 3 yr old Pyr was not too sure of her, but he is warming up slowly! As long as Marley doesn't get too close to Momma when Gandalf thinks he should be getting my attention, we are all o.k.
I've only had to remind him a few times that I am the only alpha in the house!

I haven't been able to post for awhile since the move, but I just wanted to share the most amazing thing. I was working at the Vet clinic here in Valdez (which I LOVE by the way ;D) and one of our patients is a 2 year old female Pyr. I was chatting with the owner,and low and behold Gandalf and "Deva" are from the same litter! The haven't been able to play together yet, but when they do, I will be sure to have the camera ready for photos to post!

I started this the other night, and it disappeared, so if it is a repeat forgive me! I just wanted to give you an update...I started working at the Vet clinic in Valdez where we are planning to buy 4 acres for Gandalf and "friends" to run! I am staying in a camper until our house sells, and Gandalf is not with me and its killing me! :'( I am such a GOOD DOG MOM and such a BAD kid mom! I really miss him more than I do the girls :-\  I guess they are having a ball without me!  >:( Well this is the first step to owning that Pyr ranch. When we have a house built, you can all come and visit with your "kids" of course! Keep your fingers crossed for us!
