Introduce Yourself to the Forum / New member, swissy and owner

Hi,
I'm the new and happy owner of a 14 month old Greater Swiss Mountain Dog named Emmett. I'm not new to big dogs, as my family had Rotties all my life. However, I am new to being the one with sole responsibility of a puppy's life and raising. I'm excited about this. I am a little overprotective, and I know that is bad, and I'm trying to break it, but I just already am so in love with Emmett I can't help it!! Anyone with advice or questions feel free to message me.
