I just wanted to send out a GREAT BIG HI to everyone at BPO and hope you all are doing well. Sorry I haven't been around in quite awhile but as some of you know I foster tiny (skin) babies and have been super~duper busy with 2 since the summer. I am truly missing all the BPO Christmas cards this year

Well I know I've been MIA for alittle while WOW where has the time gone?? We've been very busy, this little girl came to us almost 3 weeks ago. 'Stormy' just turned 3yrs last Thursday, she is WONDERFUL!!! She is a little spit~fire full of spunk and energy that we haven't seen in AAAAAlllong time. She makes Miss Libby young and playful(well not really;)) but she has put a spring in her step since she came. She is crate trained/house trained, good with the kids and cat the only problem we have is fence aggrassion with the dumb a** dog nextdoor. So here she is...

Well today was a sad/funny(haha) kinda day. My daughter's class was having community helpers come in a talk well Grandma runs the OSPCA here and she went in to talk.

Grandma got here and the school called sorry no cats could come(this is after we had checked and double checked to see if this was ok) so the teacher had already told the class that Grandma was bringing in a pet so after some quick thinking...let s bring in my daughters hamster 'Polly'.

Not to worry she's very friendly, active etc...we load 'Polly' up in the car I check cause she's usually very active..I tap on the top of the cage..Grandma's like should I go back inside and bring some treats??? Ummm no, no I don't think so.. She was rock solid!! But on the way back into the house to get my son's hamster 'Me not Know' we came up with some awful things we could have said if we hadn't realized before we got to the school...heeeh eehee "sssshhhh children we have to be very quiet so we don't wake her","aaaawww doesn't she look so cute all curled up in a ball sleeping" and it went on and on...I am a very sick and twisted mama!!!

So on with the story we get to school my daughter has now told everyone that 'Polly' is coming and we get there she's like what where's 'Polly'? Why did you bring 'MNK'? Grandma goes on to tell the class that hamsters don't live that long and etc... one little boy pipes up "sometimes if you forget to feed your hamster they die right?" Yup your right little boy that's why you have to feed them all the time Grandma says very calmly heeheehee(that is not why she died) she came to us as an adult we have no idea how old she was. So anyways RIP 'Polly' the hamster, hope you had fun time living here 

Okay I know this really isn't the place to vent but if I don't tell someone or get it out in the open I am going to FREAK OUT!!!!

Lets start off by saying I run a home daycare for the past almost 4yrs, started off very small but over the years I have 'collected' more children as word gets out.Over the past couple months I have been having 'troubles' with the parents ~ making changes to their days needed at last minute. Which means I loose that $ for that day.

So I made up a contract for all my parents to sign saying that without 48hrs notice to changes in the times needed they would be still oweing half days pay regardless if children are in my care(of course sickness is an exception ~don't need puke/pooping kids here , just a cold is fine).

All my parents signed except 2 ~ they have their own troubles by not paying me on pay day!!!

Anyways twice in the past 2wks the same parent has changed with little to no notice, last week it was the childs grandparents picking up after school,and today parent calls this am saying child is not coming as the sibling is sick so I assume that child is not going to school I get to the freakin school and there is child and parent!! Parent comes over to me and says 'hey Kim can you still pick up child after school today' I'm FREAKIN,FREAKIN OUT but I say yes.

I say to parent not sure if you realize but you have broken your contract 2x in the past 2 wks...parent gets all mad ~ WHEN?! So I tell parent and parent was like 'Well Thursday was last minute and today it's because of sickness'!! I say but this child is not sick. Parent says fine I'll pay you if that what you expect and walks away...

HELLO Parents out there this is a business..my job!! Just like you dropping your children off at daycare and going to your job!! How would you like it if your boss called you in Monday am and said 'Oh by the way you don't need to come to work today and won't get $ for it either' when you've already added that $$ into your budget..oh well to bad?

Okay I think I'm done... I feel better  (and I know some of you out there would be happy for the day off work )

Some of you may know I have a foster baby(skin) that will be leaving just after Christmas to a new adoptive home. I am thinking about getting a tiny baby t-shirt done for him/them... what are your thoughts??

Do you think this is a okay thing to do? The little guy will be 5 mos on the first and we've had him since leaving the hosp. This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but the 'new' parents sound wonderful and both will be very blessed.

I have really enjoyed watching the 'baby tickers' move closer to the big day, brings excitment and a rush of memories... Thank You (IMO  we are over due for some baby belly pics)

  this seems so silly but before now I just couldn't do it ~ I let Hoovers broken,old,stinky wicker bed go to trash tonight and it's silly that I am sooo upset
