Newfoundland Pictures / Bailey is 14 wks today

and she is such a ham. I dont know how I went through everyday without her!! She is soo smart, she sits, fetches, and makes a HUGE mess out of drinking water, but its worth the laugh.

on the downside she still is pooping in her crate at night and I swear I am bathing her more than my skin kids at this point!!

she is swimming in her pool like crazy and Loves HER BOYS !!

woke up to a dry crate!!!!!
yipee.
I stopped feeding her at 6, put her to bed at night, after several potty trips, got up at 11pm to potty 1am to potty and at 5am with a dry crate!!

im so proud of her!!

with potty training.
bailey just pees and poops wherever and whenever!!
Doesnt matter if its on the wood floor, the carpet or even in her crate. The door is open all day so she has acess outside whenever she wants and I go out with her every hour, she wont pee or poop on command and instead just poops right on the floor infront of me. How should I be addressing this behavior and How can I change it???

HELP!!!!

1. first you stick nose in bowl to make sure there is water in it.
2. then you put both paws in bowl
3. dig the water out of the bowl like a backhoe
4. lay down in new "bath"

bailey pooped all over in her crate and all over herself. wow. what a mess. I cleaned it and bathed her, we will see how long this bath lasts.
so I know its the first night, but man thats a lot of poop lol. any suggestions?

from the flight bailey stunk, so i gave her a bath, got her dry and all fluffy and then what do you think she did???






































she went outside and jumped in my 35 gallon pond!!!

Baileys First Day
Current mood:  excited


Man, what a day. After my four hour drive to salt lake city, i went to the wrong spot in the airport. So I had to figure out where the cargo area was. Once I finally got there I had an hour to wait to get Bailey. The receptionist asked my name and told me she had arrived 15 minutes ago on an earlier flight than expected. So I got my baby. And let me tell you something it did not take long for her to come out of her shell. she walked in the room and pulled the bed spread right off the bed. then she went into the bathroom and took the toilet paper and strung it out on the floor.then she chewed on Issacs shoes. Wow, most definently a puppy.

HI. Im new here and very excited to have found this board. I am getting my newfie puppy on thursday she is 12 weeks. I cannot wait. Im not sleeping at night Im so excited.
Is there any advice I need to know?

I have other dogs so I know what I need to have for her arrival but I have never been owned by a newfie before. the breed just fascintates me and I cannot wait to cuddle her!!
