We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new
newfoundland pup on July 26. We owned a St. Bernard
years ago and found a site similar to this then
that was VERY helpful. My saint was a great dog
and I miss him but do still remember the slobbering
and slimy water dish. Also lots of fur flying in'
the house and in the van. But he was a love and
wanted nothing more than to be with us and please
us. I have put a deposit down so there's no turning
back now. Most times I am excited especially when
we get an up to date picture of the pups. They are
3 weeks now. But then there are times I panic and
wonder what's wrong with me. I have 2 shih tzus that
are both 1 year old. Since they are so young, I
hope they accept him and play with him. It is
definitely like bringing a new baby home and hoping
the other children are not jealous and wonder if
I can manage another one.
