FAQs about puppies / Re: Eating poop
« on: May 25, 2009, 02:52:22 pm »
My dogs afraid of each other poop. Max, the Komondor loves eating. He eats anything including goat's and cow's poop. My little giant (the Caucasian) has tasted goat's and cow's poop, but he doesn't care for it. My other Komondor, Tibor, loves to roll in cow's poop.

I am very suspicious of dog food. That's why I feed them raw whenever possible. I also mix raw meat with dog food. My dogs love eating my concoction. We just killed two cows. My dogs are eating well this week. There's plenty of bones, ribs, marrows, and scrapped meats around. Yum yum!

My Caucasian is eating well. Hopefully, he'll grow up to be a giant without being obese.

Hi Folks,

I just found this webpage about dog foods. They have nutritional analysis on every dog brand on the market. I was surprised to see IAMS and Science on McGarbage list.

Sorry to hear about your loss! To prevent bloating, you should mix dried food with wet food. Simply, add water and wet food to kibble. I feed my dogs with all kind of foods. Human leftover foods, raw bone, rib, meats, etc. So far, I haven't had any digestive issues yet.

Here are my two other Komondors, Max and Tibor. It's hot and humid in Georgia. So, I shear their coat. It is nicer that way.

Hi again,

I'm not new to LGD. I also have two other male Komondors. They are very sweet and protective dogs. I don't know how the CO will stack up against the Komondors. Komondor are king of LGD. They are known to attack people. So far, my CO starts to show his protective instinct. He barks and chases animals away. He's also challenging my top dog for leadership. However, he is still friendly to strangers. I think that will change soon. So, he hasn't challenged us yet.

I like big dogs especially working dogs. Greay Pyr and Newfies are cool. If I have a pond or small lake, I would get a Newfie.

Hello all,

Thank you for the warm welcome! By the way, I'm David. Here's another pix of my CO.

I believe my puppy is over 100 lbs already. I no longer can lift him up. He's a big bone, bear type CO.

Hi Dog Lovers,

This is my first post. I'm a Caucasian Ovcharka owner from Hartwell, GA. I have a 7 months old wonderful male CO. He's living with us on the farm learning how to watch the property and some goats.

Regards,
MPower
