lol I've eard the loud snorts where they wake themselves up & everyone else in the house as well lol

This morning my hubby awoke to  the familiar to us all sounds of Rocky whimpering & yelping in his sleep... you know the sounds... where it seems like he's running after something & he's barking & whining at it whatever IT may be lol WELL.... apparently this time IT was something bad! he went over to hubby's side (usually he's all over mommy lol) so he went to daddy & nudged him the rest of the way awake... hubby asked him if it was a bad dream... Rocky licked & whined & proceded to climb up in bed beside & on hubby LOL... after a few rubs & of course the waking up of mommy!!! lol (to get more comfort) he left to the spare bedroom to go back to sleep... you heard him get on the bed & back off the bed & came back to our bed like mommy.. daddy.. it's too dark in there.... Can I seep wif you guys? lol so he crawls over on top of me like he's a blanket... y'all know the scene... a paw on each side of your chest & legs on each side of your legs lol & lays his head on my chest  ( I'm only 5'0 & well standing on his hind legs so is he almost! LOL) so he lays there for a bit & does the act again... back in the bedroom back in our room... hubby gets up turns the light on & showed him there's nothing there lol HOW SAD IS THAT!!!  a friggin 115lb almost 2 yr old rottie who could knock a person down with a butt wiggle was scared of the dark! lol so hubby who has to be up in about an hour went out to smoke & took the worlds biggest baby outside to potty & sent him back to bed! lol yeah it's gonna be an interesting day! lol

ohhhh without a doubt Rocky is a butt guy lol you look like you're going for the nubb & my lord the poor guy just turns into butter in the middle of july! lol

we went thru this too... except at one time there was a contact... there's no leash law in the neighborhood we live in. & at the time we just had our Rott fortunately the pug wasnt there at this time. He was about 8/9 months old (even at that age he was 85-95lbs) & hubby was walking him around the neighborhood (ON the leash) & this lady's dog comes running out of their yard at rocky (not the first time it happened) well this dog had repeatedly nipped at rocky's back legs & time & time again hubby yelled for her to get her dog! hubby had called the cops on the situation because he wanted record that he had complained before...her reasoning all those times before was there's no leash law so there's nothing you can do!!  well rocky snapped back at this dog. he grabbed ahold of the beagle's bottom jaw & shook. & immediately let go he just wanted it to go away not to hurt it just for it to stop hurting him!... well this apparently got the ladies attention... hmmm & all the yelling at her before didnt!?  anywho lol she came running out saying I'm gonna sue you for your dog tearing up my dog!! ummm hello?! what had we been telling you get your damn dog in the house?! or at least out of the idea that it's ok to nip at a dog walking on leash in the street! the cops had told us over & over again that as long as we or our dog were not in HER yard then there was nothing that she could do to us because anything that happened we were protecting our property. (our rott) My hubby just raised his cell phone up when she threatened & said well hey I have the cops on speed dial if you'd like! she just ran out got her dog & called her vet. I was like yeah & if you'd have just started letting your dogs into the fenced in BACKYARD instead of the front none of us would've had any problems! 

We finally got hubby's daughter this week. was a fun time had by all... especially the pups lol

Last night we had my stepdaughter at our house for the first time... it's been a long road but finally we got her MOTHER to come up & see our house so she'd know we didnt just live in a hole in the ground lmao anyways lol we've always known our Bubble butt was wonderful with children but last night he just amazed me! the little girl is almost 10 & you'd think these 2 had known each other for years! hubby tossed her on the waterbed & said this is where you'll sleep whenever you get to stay... about then Rocky hops up on the bed with her (something he rarely does with us) & lays beside her then all over her lol giving her kisses all over. He just loved having a new buddy & I just loved seeing him act like a big ol kid himself they were so cute together!! I'm sorry to rant about it, but I'm just so proud of my lil guy for knowing just how to act so sweet!

That is Adorable!! lol my hubby & I dont have children yet... However we have seen our rott w/ kids. He's a nut!! lol he loves kids & doesnt let them wander too far away from the "mommy & daddy" zone. it's like he herds em up & closes em in lol he just slightly nudges their hindies w/ the side of his head to get them to turn around lol it's so cute to watch him... I know there was one time I was sitting in my friends living room & all of a sudden I hear the kids start screaming & come running through full blast to the kitchen... then I see a rottie w/ tongue out side of the mouth trotting after them... then about 30 seconds later I see a rottie running full throttle through the living room & bringing up the lead was 2 kids cackling behinds him. they were playing chase! it went on for about 5 mins & I'm not sure who ended up passing out first the dog or the kids lol
