  This is so true! I have what can be called Einstein syndrome. Very academically inclined (I'm a scientist), but sometimes my common sense..well... sometimes it's greatly lacking. My husband loves to make fun of me and I admit sometimes I'm scatterbrained . Not all the time, don't get me wrong. Oh well..somethin gs gotta give.

  I've done rescue transport in the past, with pet rats and cats. I'm in N. Metro near Acworth/Kennesaw (Cobb/Cherokee/Bartow counties) and work in Atlanta. I may can help sometime with transport.

Introduce Yourself to the Forum / Hey Guys from N. Metro Atlanta, Georgia

   Hey..I'm another newbie! We recently rescued a yellow labrador retriever named Harley.  What a big goof!! He's about a year old and loads of pure fun and love. We also have cats, rats, ferrets, and fish, and one old hamster. Whew!! We should start beginner obedience training January, so that'll be a new adventure. We recently bought a house with a fenced yard so we were excited about adopting a dog after years of not having one.
  Anyway, seems like a great board to meet new friends and great resources!
