First off....I am so sorry for your loss...both trucker dave and samsmom. My heart dropped as soon as I read your stories. I can't even imagine the pain you are feeling. You guys are both in my thoughts.. :'(

Second...I would just like to say that PyrLove is a "new member" with only a few posts...looks like only to this thread. As difficult as it is...don't let them get to you. They either a. don't even HAVE a great pyrenees and have nothing better to do then harrass people on the internet or b. have never made a mistake or had an accident in their whole entire life and are living in a 100% perfect world. In which case...like patrick said...they would be a robot.  :P ;)

Please...don't let this one "person" stop you from posting on this board and receiving feedback.  :-\

Mainly work and Miles. I've turned into a work-a-holic (which is somewhat unfortunate... however I've traveled alot because of it). A quick Bahamas trip the end of January..and I recently just got back from a 12 Day Exotic Western Carribbean earlier this month. ;D

Wow!! It's been awhile since I've been around here. I've missed you guys!! I've been trying to catch up the last few days on everything that has happened while I've been away. SO much has happened! OH.MY.GOSH. That is the CUTEST picture of Santa and his reindeer!!! I love it!!! Where did you find a santa suit big enough for the beast? hahaha Waaaay too cute.

Love the bath pic. Miles gives me that same pathetic face when he's getting bathed.

I got Miles the Tug shaped Tuffy. Long with a ring shape at each end. It's destroyed now.....I think it took a little over a week. I think it might've been a 9 on the "tuffy scale". Not too bad since regular stuffed animals can be destroyed in an hour depending what mood he's in...and he can devour a 12 inch bully stick in about 5-10 minutes.

I've given up on nail trimming altogether.I have regular nail clippers and a dremel...both of which have only been used about a total of 10 times altogether. I now leave nail trimming to the vet. Even if it is an expensive pedicure for a dog (12 dollars)....It's not worth the sweat, blood, and tears..literal ly!

Good luck to you Pedi Paws owners! Hope it works well for ya! I always see the peticure on TV, and it looks pretty cool.

If it was just a little wimper, then your dog was probably just playing a little more rough than the other dog was used to. The way the other dog's owner talked to you and threatened you is what would upset me the most. Even if your dog did start up a little fight, the reaction of that person was TOTALLY uncalled for. And kicking sand? Wow. haha I suppose if the owner thought their dog was really being attacked, they thought that would be the best way to break it up. If you take your dog to the dog park, you should know that an "attack" could happen. I certainly do NOT think you were in the wrong here.

Now what does upset me while I am at the dog park (Miles gets picked on sometimes) is when another dog will be bullying him and bullying him to the point where they will be pinning him down sometimes and he can't get up. And the owners don't do anything. I have to end up getting their dog off mine. >:(

When Miles was a little puppy, he hated it. He was not going out in that stuff for nothin'! He doesn't mind it now though. He doesn't play in it either, he's just like, eh...just rain. Miles also LOVES snow. He goes crazy over it.

Yeah. For some reason our airline lets "Celebrity Pets" travel in the seat! Once we had a St. Bernard that got to lay across two seats. (Of course they have a mat they put on the seat). Uno flys on us all the time!! I LOVE it. I do wonder what passengers that aren't very fond of dogs think though.
