Great Pyrenees Discussions / Re: A Little Rough With the Cats?
« on: March 31, 2008, 01:42:24 pm »
Hi and Welcome ;D
First of all Pyrs arent herding dogs, they are Guardians..LGD s.I would treat the cat ordeal as I would with the pyrs that are to be with goats and sheep,When a young pup and want to play rough they need to be reprimanded not to play rough with the livestock,Noah is 9 weeks old and being a pup but I would reprimand him when he gets to rough.

First off Welcome :D

Secondly,So sorry for the loss of Mason,I lost my beloved Dobie back in 03 to Wobblers Syndrome at the age of 10.

I had 2 dobies,1 was male 1 was female,The pair got along great!I never had any issues with aggression toward each other,Wonderful dogs,I Love them! I now have 3 dogs so I think regardless of breed multiple dogs can be a challenge..but rewarding the same ;D
