Every queen needs a king ;D

Welcome. What a sweet face she has.  You are going to love this place.  I am getting very little work done because I have to check in here at least 10 times a day.

I have seen mucous in him poop from time to time. This is the only time I have noticed the green.  He is feeling great in every other way.  I currently have him on rice and chicken for the next few days.  He my have gotten a fish out of the lake. Dixie does it all the time and he is just starting to follow her lead in looking for dead fish.  I will watch him very close and if I see anything else that I do not like the looks of it is to the vet for him.  Thanks so much for the information.

I noticed today that Sugar Bear had a little geen mucus in his stool.  His stool has been very soft for the past few days. I though I would just feed him rice and chicken for a few days.   Any ideas on what this could be?

What a sweet looking little girl.  I know what you mean by being able to look at the photos and smile.  I lost my dear sweet Rosie in July of 2004. Today at work Sugar Bear was laying in one of Rosie's special places. It made me cry and laugh all at the same time.  The new babies will never take the place of the one you loved but they do make a place of there own in your heart.  I would not have belived after the loss of Rosie that I could love my two new babies so much, but I do.

Becky is a very sweet name.  I can just hear you calling "Becky, Wecky"
My babies never have just one name.  Dixie Darlin is Dixie Doodle most of the time. Sugar Bear gets call Big Boy a lot.

I have two step-kids and 3 grandchildren.  I have one granddaughter that I can not go two weeks without seeing.  She is with me this weekend and has been working with Dixie on sit and stay.

You will make it just take it one hour at a time, and know you will be back to post within 12 hrs.  lol  boy do we have it bad.  I must check this board out at least 12 times a day.  I am not getting any work done.  Have fun.

Lisa, Dixie, and Sugar Bear

My plan was to have Dixie sleep in a playpen the first few nights while she and Sugar Bear got to know each other.  That was ok for about 10min.  I went to the kitchen and Dixie jumped out and was on Sugar Bear's bed with him, they have been that way since.  I made sure that there were two beds so they did not have to sleep together.  Sugar Bear would wait until Dixie was asleep  then he would move to the other bed. As soon as Dixie would wake up and see he had moved she would move. After two days Sugar Bear got tired of moving and they sleep in the same bed all night.  Sometime she will even use him as her pillow.  She sleep just as close to him as he will let her.

As for the puppy mouthing Sugar Bear has not done it one time since we got Dixie.  I think they use there mouth playing with each other so there is no need to play with us that way.  It was hard watching the way they play fight the first few days.

It is so great when they rush to give me kisses to see who can get to me first.

Good luck with your new baby. Please post lost of photos.

I was told by my vet it is best to wait 6 months to get a second puppy. So I got Sugar Bear when he was 8 weeks old. I waited 7 months to add another puppy.   I got Dixie when she was three months and Sugar Bear was 9 months. They are the best of pals, most of the time they are not more than 6 feet from each other.

LOL, the things we will do just to have a cute photo of our babies.  I feel like this is an "AA" baord or something.  As soon as I have my cup of coffee in hand I have to read the board, then only about another 10 times during the day.  It is so nice to  know that there are so many others that can just not get enough of there fur-babies.  The photo of bear has me thinking who much fun a Newfe would have in the lake with Dixie and Sugar Bear.
