we will certainly have to have another one in march then before you leave us forever!  The more playdates the better in my book!

10:30 sounds good to Tom and I.  Can't Wait!

Newfoundland Discussions / Re: Underground fence systems

I have heard of a few problems, but for the most part the people i know that use them love them. Particularly if it is a "backup" to a real fence.  I always worry taht if the power went out for any reason it wouldn't work, but sinse you ahve a fence too that wouldnt be a huge issue.  Some breeds of hounds have also been known to walk right through them, but again, that wouldnt be an issue for ya.

We use Frontline Plus and HeartGuard. We only treat from roughly May to November....de pending on the weather. We've never had a flea problem. Now that I typed that we will be overrun this year. :-\ We have had battles with tics.
Maine has a large deer population. It's always something!

I like having to administer the 2 products rather than just one. I apply the Frontline first. That's the "medicine".
Then they get the HeartGuard.
"You were so good! Here is your 'treat'."

Anything to make it easier!

Here's to pestfree pets!

I do the same this with the heartgueasrd as a treat after the frontline.  It works well for shakes, and wee keep him on it all year long out here in CA, just in case.

I don't think anyone has mentioned this yet, so, even though i have not had this problem i though i would mention that fleas are becomeing imune to some of the products in some areas.  Ask your vet if this is happening in your area, and they will probably know.  Some areas fleas are imune to one product, and in another area they are imune to a totally different product.

This little pup is too close to where i live, and is also from a very reputable rescue that at least one BPO puppy has recently been adopted from.......... .

I wonder if i can convince my landlord that 2 dogs is better than 1?

The 4th works for Shakes, Tom and I.  We could certainly make it down to Del Mar, but i do really love the HB park and the Cafe we went to.  And Hb is closer for a lot of people.  Tom and i would not be able to make it if it were up at the snow, no car that i trust to get there and back.  I hope this is still happening!!!

yeah, it is really cool.  they are airing ALL the breed winners.  They pause the action for commercials so that veiwers at home don't miss any breed!  They kind of have to though cause it is live, so if you missed someone they might end up winning...... and that woudl be silly.

we have 3 rats here, and shakespeare hates that we share our love with other animals.  We have a beige rat, a beige hooded rat, and a blue (dark grey) rat.  in order they are Pandora, Aurora, and Lexa.
