it is a trick i got from my favoriet harry potter site.  They use it for spoilers when new books come out so that people don't see stuff they havent gotten to yet!

Here are the locations of all three spoilers.  Highlight the “blank” space below with your mouse to reveal the spoiler!!!

1)   Source Code: on the home page click view, source.  You will see a nifty little image in the code!!
2)   Ugly Kitty: go to the bottom of the home page and move mouse to the O in dogs in the “beware of Dogs” icon.  You should be able to click there be taken to the picture.
3)   Memory game: Go to the Paw Prints home page.  There is text that says “paw print of the week”  click on the Paw image to the left of this text to be taken to the game!!!
Hope that helps!!

I've taken to giving my guys a measured amount of food each day & just leaving it out...I put some in in the morning & give them the rest of their allowed amount of food in the evening...I don't take it up anymore though...My guys tend to graze...I'd say only 2 days of the weeks they actually finish everything in their bowl by morning...If I add some yummies they are more apt to finish but not always.

that is word for word what we do with shakespeare.  Occasionally when he does finish all his food for the day early, and seems real hungry still, he gets extra, then wakes up taller all of the sudden.

i haven't figured out the BOD's clue either, but the game is certainly worth finding.  someone gave a good clue earlier, that if you think about what page someone would hid e a memory game, you are probably right.  Also, what someone else said about moving your mouse around till you find something that you can click on is how i found the game.  I think someone that has found them all shoudl post a thread with SPOILER clearly in the subject with the answeres for us that would rather just know!

Meet & Greet BPOers / Re: Southern Calif. Gathering ... Rescheduled?
« on: September 19, 2005, 05:33:40 pm »
10:30 sounds good to me.... are we meeting at the north enterance or the south?  I would love to go get lunch after!!!!  With such big dogs we are going to dominate the place.....

As for the long beach dog park, parkign is much easier, but it is a lot smaller of an area.... supposedly no where near as cool as the HB one.  We go to the LB one all the time, but if the HB one is cooler, then we shoudl go there for all the visitors!!

we just found out that our guy has roundworm..... no symptoms at all.  we only found out because we found one in his poop after he started on heartguard.  He only weighs 55 lbs and our deworming meds were $60, and HUGE.  I can only imagine how much worse it can be as the doggies get bigger........

this crazy lady at the dog park told me how she trained her boxer not to nip.. and we are using it with shakes with very good resaults.  it is essentially an expansion on the ignoring thing.

What you do is say "eeep" (in a high pitched squeely voice) and turn away from the pup refusing to play.  It is supposed to be an imitation of the noise a puppy makes when a littermate nips too hard.  Shakes hates it when he thinks he might have upset/hurt us.

So far so good with the count! It seems like it will be an awesome bunch!

Kirsten- what is with you and the casts at meet-n-greet time? If I recall, last time it was Shakespear in a cast.  ???

Tom actually got his cast put on a day before Shakespeare did..... They were quite a pair for awhile!

General Board for Big Dogs with Big Paws / Re: IW still at petstore
« on: September 09, 2005, 01:27:28 pm »
my problem with the puppies i see at petstores is much different.  See pet stores here don't sell dogs.  instead there are resues that bring their dogs out to the stores so people can meet them.  I can't resist them.  everytime i go to the store and see a rescued dog in need i want to take them home!!!  Luckily they mostly come on weekends, so i jsut try to go during the week, but there is a resue that brings different dogs to our PETCO EVERYDAY!!!  just a couple dogs a day, but i can't go there because i always want at least one of the 2 that is there.....

Long Islands used to be my drink but now i go for Long Beach Iced Teas instead.  Basically the same but instead of the cola you put cranberry!!! I also enjoy a good mojito these days, and red wine is always wonderful.
