If it is raw, I wonder if baby powder woud irritate it more?  Maybe some Neosporin or Bactine or something?

YOU'RE GOIN DOWN

I OWN DUMB AND DUMBER!

Oh yeah?  Well, I AM  Dumb and Dumber!

Wait, that didn't come out quite how I planned...   :D

I am soooo unprepared for all this.  I was just going to plop a free crown from Burger King on his head, but I can see I am going to have to step it up a bit.

During the summer months she prefers the cool grass outside.

Does it get very hot where you live?  We are in San Diego, so we don't have to worry too much about the heat, but my mom in Phoenix has two collies...  During the summertime, they don't even want to go outside for walks, let alone sleep out there...

Marit

Heh heh, too late - he is on his way to your door with all his figurines!  But it will probably won't be as scary as it will be mind-numbing....  "So,  Boba Fett is Django Fett's son?..."  Of course, I am sure that on some Star Wars board later tonight, he will be typing "Too late man, she is on her way to your house with eighteen hundred pictures of our dog!"

I think I need your bribery book!  Hey, at least your hubby is into something relatively adult.  During the picture taking, I kept asking him "HOW old are you?".  Which is exactly what he will be asking me tonight, as I dress up my doggy.  :P

Our guys sleep on their doggy beds on either side of our bed.  Ranger sleeps on my side, Gwen sleeps on her daddy's side.

I get up pretty early for work, and Ranger used to sleep in bed with his daddy after I got up (he gets up with me now.  YES!  He loves his mommy best!).  I would go back into the bedroom for something and find him in bed on my side of the bed, laying on his back with his head on my pillow, kind of like "Hmmm, so this is how people sleep..."  He would give me the dirtiest look, like "Excuse me!  SOME of us are trying to get their beauty sleep".

...evening wear for dogs just dont fall down on ones head.

Too true!  I think my guy had better help me out with all this - I did my penance by helping him take pictures the other night for his Star Wars geek forum (Please note - him going online and talking to other Star Wars fans about Star Wars stuff is geeky.  Me going online and talking to other big dog parents about our big dogs is cool.  I don't know why it works this way, but it just does.)  He'd better start sewing!

When I was helping him take pictures of some Star Wars figurine the other night, it was like he was Ansel Adams or something.  He had to make a little backdrop for the figurine, the lighting had to be just right, etc.  I expect the same devotion out of him to Rangers glamour shots!

Funny note - as we are running around that night with cameras, props, special lighting, etc. all of a sudden he goes "We better close the front door, if the neighbors see us they will think we are doing amateur porn!"  I can't imagine what they might be thinking tonight!

Ranger is sprawled out on the floor beside me snoring away.  He is going through another growth spurt right now, so sleeping is 1st on his agenda!!

Come to think of it....hubby is sleeping and snoring too.....  ;)

Maybe your hubby is going through a growth spurt too!   ;D

Everyone here is sacked out as well.  Ranger and Gwen got up long enough to eat breakfast and then crashed out again.   Maybe I should stop resisting and just go back to bed too...  ;)

Grumpybunny, where did u get the giant tennis ball?  My Dobie Ace LOVES tennis balls, I think he would faint if I got him a giant one :D
My fiance' got it for them at PETCO (he actually works there - not the greatest job in the world, but yay discount!)

If he ever gets out of bed this morning, I will get the details on it for you - if they usually carry them, how much it cost, etc.

Yes, I bet he will "wake up" real fast if some food hits the floor!   ;D

Yeah, our guys are total dorks too.  Ranger seems to have no idea that his back end is actually connected to his front end.

Also, he has a giant tennis ball (like, 3 feet in diameter giant) and sometimes when he is playing with it, he will get both front feet up over the top of it and kind of roll forward over it til it is stuck under his belly.  Since it is so big, he can't get off, and has to just balance there, touching only one foot to the floor at a time, til someone comes to rescue him.

When he was going to class at the Humane Society, his teachers would say "We just love Ranger, he is so regal and dignified."  We were always like "Excuse me, have you MET him?"

Oh man, you guys are in a whole different league from me.  I was just going to plop a tiara on his head, hope his eyes were at least semi-open in the picture and call it a day!   ;D

I just looked down at Ranger, who is laying on the floor by my chair, and he looked so stupid that I needed to share with someone.  And it made me wonder - what is everone elses dog doing right now?

Ranger, as I mentioned, iis laying on the floor by my chair.  He is laying twisted on his back (with his front half, he is laying on his side, and with his back half he is laying on his back, legs spread wide so that his crotch may reap the benefits of the cool night air.  He is watching "Bambi" on TV with intense concentration, because he hears dogs barking in this scene.

Gwen has gone into the bathroom and climbed into the bathtub, either because her Daddy is at work and she is emotionally traumatized without him here, or because she hates "Bambi".

Big Saturday night around here... ;D  What is YOUR dog doing?

At least you have a good reason for not going.  I am probably close enough to go, but no way am I brave enough to go.  Once Ranger was done wreaking havoc, and trying to put every other dog there into his mouth, I would be kicked off BPO!
