Specific Website Information / Chat

The last couple of times that I have tried to log onto chat it won't let me.. I never see the connect . It goes straight to the chat room but not the full display. I don't see anything but the options at the bottom of the site. Any ideas anyone as to what's going on?? I miss chat

Ok this is Macie a mixed breed that was dumped at our farm. She has a purple tongue like a chow, short legs, long body. Any idea??

this is my son Tyler, me, son Chris (groom) and Kim (the bride). We had a really nice time except from getting sick as a dog Sunday and getting the flu..

Well todays the day. We are getting ready to head to Nebraska for my sons wedding. Gretchen will be boarded at the vet's office while we are gone. This will be the first time she has been away from us. We took Buttons the LLhasa to my mom's house last night. Mom laughed and said we may not get her back.

Just wanted to let you know that I will be gone until next Monday..

Anything Non-Dog Related / Throwing US Flag in dumpster

Hey guys I really need to vent tonight. Right now I am soo mad at what happened at work today. I am the receiving manager where I work and a couple months ago an assistant manager came back and was going to throw a US flag down the dumpster. This I could not believe this since I am a US Army veteran. When explained in no uncertain terms that he was NOT going to do this and I let it go to stupidity. But today a co worker came back and was going to do the same thing. It was explained to her that a flag was not going in the dumpster that it wasÂ going to be given to someone to dispose of properly (ie VFW ). She then told me she was going to throw it away. Well needless to say it was not thrown away.Â Maybe because I am a vet this really pushes my buttons. My children ahve been taught that you remove your hat and stop talking when the anthem is played or color guard passes by. What is up with people these days

. Sorry for the long winded post just had to get this off my chest.

Anything Non-Dog Related / Hunt for dress

You guys are not going to believe this. My son Chris is going to be married October 6 in Nebraska, so I went dress shopping last night. Since I live in the boonies or BFE we had to drive to Champaign IL about 65 miles north to shop. Anyway after looking at the mall and couldn't find anything I asked a salesperson where to find a mother of groom dress

. She suggested a local bridal shop, so off we go. When we get there we were tag shocked. The cheapest was 149.00.. A very nice sales girl came to assist us. I tried on a dress and didn't really like it and she suggested a really classy dress but was 275.00 marked down to 149.00, explained to her didn't really want to pay that much, but she suggested to try it on and she would check the price. Loved the dress on, and then she came back and said you won't believe how much, it was marked down to 19.99

, can you believe that...So dress and shoes dyed to mactch 63.00...

Rottweiler Discussions / Mini Rott

Yesterday we took Gretchen to the vet for her booster shot. She is now 5 months old. Gretchen weighed in at 43lb and is 26" tall at shoulders. The vet made comment she's going to be a mini rott and she won't get over 60-65lbs. Dr Albin said she was in perfect health and a very nice girl

. Does this sound right?? The vet said she is not underweight for her size but just right. Do you guys think she's going to be a mini rott?? While we were there we made an appointment to get her spayed Oct 5. Since we are going out of town to Nebraska for son's wedding and are going to board her at the vet's office figured we would kill two birds with one stone so to speak.

I took this pic while on a drive this summer. We have a settlement of Amish about 7 miles north of where I live. Thought you guys might like it. Although if gas keeps going up may have hijackings.

Rottweiler Discussions / Dogs driving me CRAZY

Today for some reason all the dogs are driving me crazy. Gretchen is teasing the Llhasa Buttons. Buttons then growls and acts like she is going to eat her. Then Gretchen moves on to the cat, who hisses and growls like a tiger. Gretchen knows this is for show because Sassy can't scratch her no front claws. Then a chase is instigated. Time out may be in Gretchens future. LOL. Tyler has decided now to join in the insanity and get Gretchen more hyper by wrestling with her. OK mom has had it they're all going outside

I'd like some of you guys ipinions of what you think of the rescue effort that is going on? Myself I think it is a sad day when the US can help other countries and can't help our own citizens. One of the things that really bugs me is they keep refering to the people as refugees. They are not refugees. Today at work a vendor from Coke asked what I was doing for the weekend and I told her nothing. She then responded that she was going to Houston for a family gathering and thought she would have to slum with the refugees. My facial expression must of said what I really wanted to say to her

. My aunt and cousins live in Gautier MS about 35 miles eat of Biloxi. I spoke with my aunt today and conditions are like a war zone. Her family traveled to Mobil Al to just get a hot meal and try to find a laundry mat to wash clothes. My cousin is not uneducated or on state aid. She is a well respected attorney and she is under the impression that most people watching the TV are getting the impression that most of the people in the hurricane zone are. What is this country coming too? Sorry guys just needed to vent.

Rottweiler Discussions / Gretchen saved the day

The other day my son Tyler left the cage open and his rabbit "Clover" escaped. Since she is a dwarf rabbit she is really tiny and I thought for sure that she was coyote bait. Tyler decided to put Gretchen to a tracking test. With her on her leash he took her to the rabbit cage and told her to "bring it"

Gretchen started sniffing and led Tyler to the barn. After sniffing around she led Tyler (so he says) to the rabbit. I know this is hard to believe but the rabbit was found by Gretchen. Tyler and I looked for 2 hours and couldn't find her.
