Ok I did it Toester is officially pinkish. I did it with two packs of Kool-aid and three bottles of food coloring. It's not perfect and next time I know I need more food coloring and Kool-aid. My mom now thinks I'm crazy and my boyfriend is mad at me and will not walk the dogs until she's back to her color.

thank you all I never though about using Kool-aid. I just might try it. I'll make sure I send you al pix of my rainbow dogs. I did use Kool-aid once when I was like 12 to dye my hair cause my mom wouldn't let me ut looked nice while I was inside but when it hit the sun it was bright red. It washed out over time and my hair was fine but I dont think I'll be doing it to mysent anytime soon.

hello all I had a crazy idea the other day but I wasn't sure it if was going to be safe. I want to dye Toester purple.  :o (yeah I know I'm crazy) can you imagine a big a** purple and black Great Dane walking down the street. I looked at a few dyes but I'm still not sure, I dont want to hurt her but I want a purple dog  ;D. am I the only weird person on here? Has anyone ever done this or have ever though about it? And I was kinda thinking of doing Thor's white spots blue.

my guys are pretty bad I wish I had pix. They eat huge sticks all the time. They've eaten the trim around the door and the shed they've ever started on the house. I've even seen Hershie biting the tree! We have no lattice on the porch now. They love wood, I don't understand it they have toys to play with while outside but they don't want them. if you find out the reason PLEASE let me know. I'll have to find my camera and take pictures of the destruction..

After reading all you all do I feel like a bad mommie. I cant stand the doggie smell and I don't want my house to smell like dog so I brush them at least once a day and just about every time they come in I spray them with febreeze or the gain stuff which its like it. I can't take any of those doggie perfumes they are to strong from me and it triggers my allergies and I cant be around them.I bathe them twice a month but I rinse them pretty good when they come from the lake. I asked my vet and she never said not the spray them and so far we have had no problem. I used to have to chase them down to spray them but now they sit and wait for it.

that is so sad. I was wondering what happened to the animals I asked one day while at work just kinda speaking out loud and people looked at me like I was crazy but honestly I don't thin I would have left with out at least one of my dogs.

ok we went to the vet the other day and I spent $300 for the vet to tell me that she's never seen anything like it and is not quite sure what it is. She took some skin scrapings and told me to call in two weeks. She gave me some shampoo that she said "should help" and I have to wash her THREE times a week. Onyx HATES baths! She also told me to keep her away from the other dogs cause they might get it but they have been together for this long and they havent gotten it. Onyx misses the others so badly and she whines all day and night, and poor Thor he seems lost with out her.

Looks like she laid in a pile of fire ants. Do you live in the South? 'Course those would probably aggravate her if they were ant bites.

No we dont have fire ants around here or the really big ones just the usual little ones.

WOW! Mr. Grey is going to be big I just had Miss Onyx weighed and shes only 87 at 7 months. The vet was shocked that she gained 30 somithing pounds in a little under three months. I hope that she'll get up to Mr. Grey. When we got Thor he was soo skinny we fed them four times a day and sometimes I'd mix a little goodies (chicken, eggs, rice, and Iams gravy) in with it. Also I have used canned food mixed with dry to help put on a little weight.

I have no I dea what this is. They just came up one day and they haven't gone away. These are pictures of her belly its also on her back somewhat but not as bad. When she is facing away from you you can see lwhat looks like holes in her fur. She is on front line so its not fleas but I thought that it was something that was bitting her but the other dogs dont have them, they are slightly raised and you can fell them then they go away and leave those spots. I made an appointment with the vet but its not until Monday so I thought maybe you all could help. Is it mange?
On her back it kinda looks like dandruff.
