I bow-wow to you, my Queen!

Tulsa was playing with a Jack Russel today that was real 'Fiesty', he wanted to mate, she wanted to romp. It was funny watching him move away, AIR F@%KING, while she ran up and pushed him over with a big paw, then went submissive so he could chew on her.
I think a JR would be a great addition to a BIG DOG family.
And, yes Marit, Tulsa tossed the bucket into the air and then tried to dive through it!

Nicki,
Your dog is in a new place and a bit confused, and frightened, by the new sights and smells. He will come around, but in the mean time you need to be vigilant that he dooesn't harm anyone. Our big dogs can feel our apprehension, it travels down the lead, and they receive the wrong information, thinking they should protect us, rather than relax and go with the flow.
Tulsa acted the same way when we moved to our new digs, it took a couple of weeks to bring her around, but now she's fine. She still barks, and growls at strange sounds and activities outside, but that's what her instincts tell her to do, and I accept that.
Training, through positive reinforcement, is a lifetime commitment to our big dogs. They look to us for love and guidance, we look to them for love and companionship.
A dog is only as good as its' Master allows it to be.
That said, I think I'll have a drink. It's gotta be cocktail time somewhere!

Hey Micheal!
Tulsa and Sherman were good fiends.
We met you and Jaime on several occasions, along with your Goofy Newfy, Bear.
Losing Sherman was tough on Tulsa, she still looks for him when we ar at Woodward Park, but her heart is mending, Her demeanor towards other big dogs is changing, but she still seeks out the Big Black Fluffy dogs to play with!. Newfs are great, if Tulsa wasn't such an Alpha, I'd get one tomorrow.
I have lots of great pictures of Sherman and Randy, and would like to share them with you.

Pulease!!
The only reason Tulsa does not get on the furniture, it's too uncomfortable.
I have found her on my bed, on occasion, "Snuffling" at me.
(A "Snuffle" is a growl, bark, stifled by good sense. More like a Humph!)
Her arena is the floor, if I sit on the floor, I'm fair game!
Let's Party Dad!
I love my dog!

Tulsa yanked me out of my chair on the patio, my left shoulder took out one of the awning supports, and the fool with the "Rat on a Rope" stood there , with his little rat dog, challenging Tulsa, asking me if I was O.K. I'm on my stomach, my dog not in her best behavior, she didn't like him, with or without his "Rat", dragging me through the flowers, to silence the little dog. I hung on and asked him to leave. He looked at me like, can't you control that beast! I hissed, "Get the f@&k out of here, or I'll turn her loose!"
I sold the place.

I didn't know Tulsa as a pupl
But it's been wonderful to watch her grow into a "Lady"!
She is awaiting coronation as the "Queen".
Politics, as they are, she may become "Ms. President!"

Tulsa is my constant companion, and I can't  do enough to make sure of her quality of life.
She has enriched my life with her antics, her loyalty, and her unconditional love.

She is a Happy Girl, as long as she keeps me in sight.
Right now she's laying on the A/C Duct giving me the "one eyebrow raised" look.
This is her new friend she met on the river.
