Well.......... Now it's MY turn to go crazy!!  These two goons are driving us NUTS!!!  My floozie of a scottish terrier is driving my poor Kuv pup CRAZY!!!!!  Who would have thought that my little precious girl would act in such a manner.  Just a few more days.  We now have to make sure Mike is in his kennel when we leave instead of just behind the gates....I think that smartie has the gates figured out!!  Shanna....why did you guys have to have such smart pups!!!! BUT, I still love them bunches!!

My two dogs are so silly and love people and attention that they are just the same as always...Mike is just a little more distracted.  When he starts to get too excited over her I just use the command "leave it" and he walks away like a good boy....how long the command works is another story,  but when he gets more persistent we just gate them in different rooms for a while.  It seems to be working good.  Just a few more days and we will be ok.  My Kuvasz is so easy going that nothing seems to phase him....and my scotty...well, I once told the breeder that she forgot to send up her brains with her.....all attitude...no brains.  To this day 8 years later she still hasn't learned how to shake a paw...OR she is just way about that!!!

Have to smile a little....keep the sense of humor right?   Well, K2 is standing now, too.  And if THAT doesn't look ridiculous!!   I think she comes up to Mike's knee's if that.  But,  I have given strict orders now that they are never left alone even to go to potty...human or otherwise.   I don't think they were taking me serious until I showed Dan what was about to happen....now he has is eyes wide open.  If mom weren't in assisted living she would take K2 for the week, but this isn't going to happen now.  We will do just fine.....I always meant to get her spayed a long time ago....but she goes into heat so infrequently that it's out of site out of mind and I had no males dogs around ever.   Well.....guess what...when she is done with this it's surgery time!!!!

I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW!!!!!!!!!! I am dying to see them myself!!  Our photographer lives in Grand Marais and has her lab in Duluth so it will take a little while to get them.  And we have video, too.  I am impatiently waiting to see them all.  Took Mike and K2 running on the crosscountry trail....good boy...he came to me every time  when called and plunked that furry butt right down in front of me....but not K2...too cold on her little butt!!!

Sooooo glad to hear how well Saphire is doing!!!  Keep up the good work.  Mike is great, but these days he likes to play keep away outside, too.  Especially in this cooler weather....

Shana...one of these days Dan and I and Mike will have to take a drive up your way so you can see how good he is.   He is just a wonderfully happy, happy pup.

Had to fill you in on my wedding day.  Mike and K2 were the ring bearer and flower girl.  Mike had on his own tuxedo....no hat...it covered his eyes.  And, K2...scotty... wore a red scottish plaid beret and scarf.  They were escorted down the aisle by my 16 year old son, Georde', who was wearing knickers and newsboy had....we had a turn of the century Titanic wedding.  On the program I had listed Georde' as the Beastmaster.  Mike was sooooooo good he just sat there most of the time and eventually fell asleep...the wedding was VERY short and after we said our vows K2 started to give a little bark....but Mike took a swat at her and she sat down again.  Everyone commented on what a good pup I had.....we were very proud of him....and he really like his tuxedo and didn't want to take it off.   K2 on the other hand would get up under him and say.....take this stupid hat off....how degrading!  Actually, she did a good job and didn't try and shake it off.  Not bad for a couple of pups in a very unfamiliar setting.  I will post pics when I get them back from photographer.

Shana....you don't want to try and teach Aidan to hunt?  The breed was once used to hunt bear.  And Aidan won't smell doggy like the labs.

I finally got a chance to show some pictures of Mike.   He is sitting along side my 6'2" son so you can see how big he is.  He is now at 85 lbs and is still growing fast.  He will be ring bearer in my wedding....hop e he doesn't grow out of his tux.  His little scottie friend will be flower girl.  Hope Saphire is still showing improvement.  Sounds like she is alot like her mommy.   I am glad Mike ended up like Aidan.  He goes all over the place with me and is still just excited about everything he experiences.  The only thing that bothers him is the broom.   I got mad one day when he was a puppy...I was sweeping the floor when I turned around and there he had peed on the floor right behind me.  I was so mad that I drop the broom on the floor and it made a big noise....I never did punish him for it....the deed was already done....but the noise of the broom hitting the floor...well, it never really left his mind which is good because up to that point he thought it was a great toy and I couldn't sweep without puppy grabbing it.

Glad to hear that Sapphire is doing better.  I also have one of the "Kilde Kids."   Mike,  "Kilde's Always My Hero", has been so awesome that I can't imagine what you had to deal with.  He is still acting like a silly puppy and rarely barks at anyone except his little scotty friend when he is playing.  I guess I should count my blessings.  His main problem is that he is a thief...shoes, panties, socks...you name it...can't find it...find Mike.  I sure have enjoyed him...he is my first big dog...I really have been missing out.  Although...... I think he is digging a hole to China in my back yard!!!
