Very nice. Merry Christmas ;D

I really liked both of these.  I saw the "snow dog" card in another post last year, it's cute, too.

Did you notice on the credits for this year's card that the singer & combo (keyboard, drum, & guitar players) were all Grads from Ashland U?  Cool!.

Happy Christmas & Merry New Year! :D

Finally!!!  A reason to not to want to live in the snow!   and I was so jealous of everybody's great snow pictures!   I never thought about poopsicles!  I have the visual and it's NOT pretty!  YUCKERS!!!

Here's another reason.   It snows....they poop.....It snows again....they poop....repeat all winter.  Spring comes.  Things thaw.   Suddenly the snow is gone.  There is a sodden lawn full of a winters worth of poo.  It's like a spring picnic!   Bluck.

That's when we call out the P.R.T.   Poop Removal Team.   This team consists of my hubby with a large shovel and DS with a pooper scooper.   Glad it's not me.

Awww!  How cute!!  Gosh, she looks like she's grown again!  How big is she now?  She's sooo pretty!

Our baby's do like to sulk when we put silly stuff on their heads!  ;) :D ;D

My Casper is a PRO at sulking!  (hee hee)  He wouldn't even lift his head off the ground when I put the antlers on him!  ;D  Silly Boy!

Oh, this is just so awesome!!  ;D I'm so glad you found him & took him home!  He's really got a sweet expression in his eyes!   :D

That clean face & muddy paws remind me VERY much of Lucy - she loves to play in the mud!  Good thing the dirt just falls off their coats once it's dry!  LOL!

Congratulation s!!!  ;D

Congrats, you both look great. Sugar Bear and Dixie took each others hat off every time we tried to get a photo.
[/color]

Thanks all!  That is too funny about Sugar Bear's & Dixie's antics with the hat!!!  ;D   The elastic on the hat used for Lucy was all stretched out - which was part of the problem - the rest was her "mood" - you'd think she was PMSing!  ;) :P ;D

Finally!!!  Lucy graduated from beginning obedience class!!!  It only took 3 months!! LOL!!  My fault for having to work (oh the pain!)!!  We started in September!  Because I don't get a consistent day off, sometimes we'd go a couple weeks between lessons.  BUT Today was THE DAY!!!   ;D

Silly girl didn't want to wear her graduation hat!  :-\ You'd think with all the silly stuff I've put on her head over the past several months, that this would've been a piece of cake - but NOT so!! ::)  The pics below are her sulking, then one with Kim our local Pet smart trainer, and finally with me!  I really don't like my picture taken anymore - my "allergic shiners" look terrible!  Anyone out there know how to get rid of them? ???

Lucy doesn't know it yet, but I've already signed her up for Intermediate class - it starts in mid-January AND I'm off on the days that I need to be to keep her in class with other doggies & their owners instead of having to do private lessons.  Yay!   :D

Thank you Dr. Laurie, I'll get him checked out. But since you're suggesting we spend SPIN money, I'll suggest you have the next Garage Sale so we can pay for it!   ;D

Ha ha ha!  Moi?  Moi?  Suggest you spend SPIN money?  Oh non non non NON!!!!   Ex Prez CT guilt tripped me into spending MY MONEY on my fosters that needed medical care......mayb e you'll have better luck with her?  And believe it or not.......I HATE Garage sales!  But - yes, you can have the next one at my place! (since it's for a good cause!)   :D

Thank you so much for helping this guy!  What a shame for his owners to drop and older dog off in poor condition.  Honestly - sometimes we humans don't show up in a very good light!

Did you hear back from the FL Pyr rescue yet?

There is also:  east@gpcarescue.org  (Terry Stephanick) - this link is on the GPCA website's rescue link page.

LaurieW, Thank you so much for your pictorial, It actually made me feel better. Not that the damage was worse (although it was) but that i'm not the only one with choas and destruction as constant companions!
Stella

I'm glad it made you feel better!  Your pic made me smile too - I SOOO feel your pain!!  ;)

I seem to clean up one Chaos & Destruction incident only to find another - whether it be a few minutes or several days/weeks later!  LOL!

I'm glad your sofa looks repairable!

Shortly after I posted those pics this morning, I heard some more "rip/chew" and Bella was taking the piping off the lower edge of the wing chair!  I decided to try lemon juice as a deterrant, grabbed the bottle out of the fridge & tried to squirt it in her mouth.....well I hadn't taken the lining off the bottle - SO - nothing came out & Bella, & now Lucy & Pete are crowding around & looking as they are thinking:  "What the heck is going on?!?"  (Yes - another Blonde moment!!!)

I was so mad at her for "HELPING" with my soon to be started attempt at recovering a wing chair, that even though she probably didn't understand why she got a squirt of juice (once I fixed the bottle) - she got one anyways!  She didn't touch the chair again, though!  (does that make me a bad doggy mommy?)  I couldn't stay mad, though & started laughing at her - she had such a funny look on her face while she was trying to lick off the juice!

Lucy & Pete turned their attention to Chessie's litter box - well.....now that the bottle was fixed - they got to sample it too!  Lucy got another small squirt when she went back to the blue sofa to add some more art carvings!

I'll bet they were glad to see me have to go to work today (got called in because a co-worker & her baby were ill with a stomach bug.)

Okay, Stella - out with it!  What else have your crew done to cause Chaos & Destruction?
 ;) :D ;D

No serious medical issues,  but he will not stand on his back left leg when he's standing still (which is almost never!) He doesn't mind it when he's playing, so I'm not worried about it. I've manipulated his hip, upper and lower leg, and all his toes, and he doesn't mind it at all.

I'd be worried about his hip.  Our Pyrs seem to have a very high pain tolerance..... Bella's hip was out of socket & all she did was walk funny - ran just fine, stood on it just fine, acted just fine (other than being the Queen B), but it was out none the less & the ortho vet had to put it back in place (which she tolerated without a sound).............. a dog that won't stand on a leg needs attention - jmho.

Laurie, I looked really quick and I thought that yor cat was the hole.....  I need sleepy.

;D  Chessie the Cat was trying to get petted & got disgusted because mommy wanted to get a picture of the sofa instead of petting him - so he walked into the pic just as I took it.....then turned & came back for some petting!   ;D  (the black stuff under the sofa is his work - he ripped up the dust liner as a kitten playing under the sofa!)

Stella, I think you terrorist strike is going to be easier to repair than mine!  Came home last night thinking that at least my 2 primo terrorists had been contained while I was at work.....well, someone named "FROSTY" decided that their work was not complete & she would finish ripping the skirt off the blue sofa!  :o

They chewed up a corner of the red sofa a couple weeks ago, and a month ago destroyed the cushion in my wing chair!  :(

I love your quote "I think I can sew it" on the second picture....I've been wanting to try recovering my furniture..... ....but now, giving it away to Goodwill & buying Leather seems to be a better plan!!  ;D
