My baby girl  Lainey, looking totally innocent. LOL
Bad hair day! lainey sister, billy, hopefully will be in her new home soon
though i want so bad to keep her!

Ok i can see where i said "how sad" would maybe upset the lady, but for me as a breeder, these pups are my heart and soul, i was posting as if, if that was one of my pups, it would be "sad" to have an owner say that, and as a breeder i would coach them thru it, i would not want my people going on the internet for advice over myself.
it is sad that the pup was put on the porch, very sad thru my eyes.
i have yet to do that to any of my pups.
heck from birth on thru 10 weeks, they poop where i sleep on pooty pads.
i dont mind it becouse i understand why, and so to would her breeder and would give her great tips i am sure.
so, yes, i guess i will have to walk on eggshells when i post.

thanx for the advice, you gave an example of why we should not post thru our eyes, with emotion, i guess we should than write like a textbook instead.
so sorry, didnt mean to offend, but, if that was one of my treasured babies, i would be sorry for that pup.
and that is where my job is not yet done,even after they leave my house.

Lainey and billy are 12 weeks, billy will be going to a home in town here not far from me, and if she turns out as i hope she will, she will be part of our breeding program

Well my pups will all be gone but my lainey girl and the black female, the black male leaves to a fantastic home tomorrow morning, in houghton mi.
what a gorgous home he will have.
i knew he was meant to be with this family as soon as i met them, and he was so at ease with them.,
my dang camera is in the repair shope
do any of you use the disposable digital cams?
i missed ten days of growth and fun with these guys and wasnt sure the quality of the pics wit the disposable.
any advice?

Remembering those no longer with us. / Farewell, Emmett Kelly

Emmett *Stonecrest Emmett Kelly, CD SAR CGC*
has an appt to lay to rest friday the 26 in my yard at ten in the morning.
my noble old man is ready to make the journey, to go join sampson and my sweet angel haddie.
with much love, this decision was an agonizing one for me.
Emmett has had such a wonderful adventure filled lifetime, doing SAR for six years, and excelling at it, he surprised many of the GSD and my own hubby whom i met doing the Sar work, he and recon joined us together, and with much hurt, i will let him go.
i am taking comfort in the fact that his life was so full, compared to my angel Hadley.

The decision was very difficult, not easy at all, and still i am sad, but i do have to say, it came down to a small fault i am not sure will correct itself, a slight overbite on the black female.
i am however happy with my choice, i am sure many who know me well, knew i would end up with yet another landseer! LOL
