Darn , google and yahoo didn't come up with anything . Do they have a website and if so , would you mind PM'ing it to me ? Thankyou ! I did see some other pics of tri's though .... I'm definitely rooting for tri's now ! hehe

My kids only have one set of Grandparents so they'd surely love another "Mama" ! hehe This is baby number 5 , due on July 13th  :)

Do you plan on keeping one ? What colors do you expect ? This is so exciting ! hehe I'm expecting too , but I only get one  ;) And it only comes with two legs . haha

They don't really spit , it's more of a HUFFING PUFFING sound . hehe it is cute . They also do another weird thing that no one really knows why they do it . If they smell something really interesting on your hands , or if you feed them something they haven't smelled before ,they will start foaming at the mouth and then will procede to try to cover their bodies in the foam . It's really funny to watch because it's so crazy !

Yep , they come in all sorts of colors ,I had plain salt and peppers , chocolates , albinos , and pintos (my favorite!) !

Many of the top hedgie breeders will not feed commercial hedgie food to there's . The prefer a mix between several adult cat foods ( the good brands ; Chicken soup , innova , etc) that's what I did  :)

I used to raise hedgies ,I miss them so much !

Actually though , if raised from very tame parents , they make WONDERFUL pets . A tame hedgie will wake up any time they hear you come into the room . They are basically blind but have a great sence of smell and will search you out . Even cuddle up next to you and take a nap ! Only when frightened by something will they roll up into a ball . So it's not stressful at all being a pet , if tame that is . They also LOVE to run on a wheel all night long . Great pets  :) All of mine died of old age .

I have three newfies .... 11 or 12 stairs to my basement .... 5 or 6 stairs outside both the front and back door .... Absolutely no problems yet !!! I gave up a long time ago trying to make them walk down slowly etc ... our's just fly up and down with no cares in the world .... of course ,they jump on trampolines , climb up the kids' play "rock wall"and slide down the slide too  ;D

Hmmm ....I don't really recognize any of those names . You have the breeders name on the papers though , why not write him a letter or give him a call and ask your questions ?

What are some of her bloodlines ? We can do some research and maybe find out if she has 'slow growing' lines in her ?

And don't worry about buying her from a pet store .... It's so much better she ended up with you than some person who had no idea what a newfie was !!!!!  :-*

I have three newfies and they've all followed different growing patterns . Allie turned 3 years old in June and has finally stopped growing I think . She's a smaller girl and tops out at about 110 lbs . She actually didn't even get the saggy lips until this summer !
Spook turned 2 years old in June and he still has a TON of filling out to do . He is at about 120 lbs right now .
And then Winter will be 1 year old in October and she's tiny . She's maybe 60 lbs right now ? But she comes from nice sized parents so I do believe she'll hit 120 or so by the time she's three .

I know part of getting a newfie is to have a BIG dog , but don't be in too much of a hurry . Let Kahlua grow as sloooooowly as possible . It's so much better for her health !

What are her parents' weights ? That will give you the best prediction  :)

Lots of cows (female) can have horns . Most are dehorned because they can be pretty nasty when calving and don't need any extra weapons !  :o

Berner_Mom > Mckenna is beautiful ! I am so very sorry for your loss  :'( Please do not give up hope , my husband was told before we were ever married that we would not be able to have children and we have 4 now ! It says in the Bible that God opens your womb , that no pregnancy is by mistake , only in His timing ! Most doctors do not believe in miracles , only science  :P

LOL Yeah , everyone mistakes her for an aussie because she's so athletic and just plain lanky right now , only thing newfie on her is her lips . hehehe
