Dr. Berry is GREAT.  Give him my best and tell him Tucker (from the high desert) is doing great.  We are also in the process of lowering Tucker's PB.  We have decreased twice in the last 4 months.  It's a slow process but we remain hopeful that maybe just one day he will be off or on a low dose.  He was taking 2 gr. twice a day and currently he is taking 1.5 gr. twice a day.  Like I said it has been a very slow process for us, decreasing .5 gr every 3 months.  Tucker's regular vet has always been a huge fan of the KBr and it really does seem to do the trick.  With Dr. Berry's blessing we started the weaning back in July.

Good luck, keep me posted, and please don't hesitate if you need anything.

I came to see what all the drama was about the "boys" I was fostering....l ol

I have to say I was very happy to have found a fun loving bunch.

Boy can I relate.  After Tucker had his first seizure we decided to buy the dog house (trailer) and now we take the pack everywhere or one of us stays home.  We also have an 18-year-old cat that can be VERY cranky.  We have found someone here in the high desert that is great with the cats but have yet to find someone willing to come to our home to watch the pack (or at least no one we feel comfortable with).

If you ever find yourself in a jam we would be more than willing to have Cowboy and Chester here with our crew.  I don't work and know all too well how to use the butt tube.

P.S.  How is Cowboy doing?  Tucker still has not had a visit from the monster since June 22, not bad for a pup that would cluster every 7 - 20 days.

Tyra got her CGC a couple weeks ago and we continue to work with her.  At this point we are looking at doing the reading program with her.

Today was great work for her as we go to the farmer's market on Thursdays for socialization and today there was this sweet little boy that was loving all over her.  His head was lower than hers and she would just nuzzle around his neck, it was just too cute.

We got Tucker from (PAL) Protect Animal Life at PetSmart during adoption days.  We put him in the basket as we went around the store picking up all his new stuff he tuckered out on us.

When we got Tyra we wanted a name that went with Tucker; Tyra fit and they became TnT.

Scooter came to us as a foster and never left.  Mack likes the comedian that always says, "I don't think so Scooter" and had said that our next dog would be named Scooter.  I guess the fact that he was a brindle and already named Scooter it was just meant to be that he would find his forever home with us.
