Took sunny to the vet and she said it is just bug bites. Still don't know what type of bug, but at least I know how to treat them!

I'm in Charleston SC. we looked at it last night trying to get a picture. I can't get a picture though. I'll tell you all what the vet says.

I'll try to get a picture of it tonight. It is hard to get a picture of it though because its under his fur. his skin is red, but the scab like or whatever it is covering it is like a yellowish brownish color. I haven't seen any ant hills in our yard, but that doesn't mean they aren't there. In SC we have biting gnats and mosquitos. I'll try to take the picture tonight when I get off work. Thank you for everyone's help!

We have been keeping an eye on Sunny's chest because he has these small raised red areas that have crusted over. He keeps getting more, but we don't know what it is from. We take him to the vet on the 3rd, but they don't have an opening before that. He just got a shot Tuesday and hook worm medicine. We haven't put his flea medicine on him yet because we didn't know if the shot and hook worm medicine would be too much for him all at once.

Thanks for all the welcomes! Sunny took his first trip to the beach this past weekend! LOL He loved playing in the sand and getting all dirty.

Question...we got a puppy about 3 weeks ago and we are looking into pet insurance. Can anyone give any pointers what to look for or does anyone have any good companies they suggest?

Hello! My name is Lisa, and I have a 10 week old Golden. I was surfing the internet for some training tips when i came across this site! I am so excited to have found this website! 
Sunny loves to nip at me and my cat. He doesn't nip so much at my fiance, but he thinks the cat and I are interactive chew toys. 
We've taught him to sit and shake we're teaching him down right now, and of course no bite. Well I just wanted to jump in and say hello and introduce myself and Sunny!
