Unlike Mastiffs, Huskies tend to have a mind of their own. They will act like they don't hear you and things tend to happen on their terms...very hard headed. You'll have to exercise his mind as well as his body.

They like to run, returning when called is not a strong point. They talk back. They have a high prey drive.

I saw the guy who did Ray Charles on Ellen and was amazed! This girl is just as good. I love not seeing what it is 'til the end then you're like "How could I not see what was coming together." That's enviable talent.

I agree with Tina as well. If they won't answer the phone, send them an email outlining exactly what your concerns are. Try to use as little emotion as possible so you don't sound b*tchy, even though you are justifiably frustrated. If there is a good reason for their lack of attention to you, you still want to be able to maintain a friendly relationship.

If they do not respond with lots of apologies and provide all information requested promptly then I think you need to walk away. When you are purchasing a dog from a breeder, you pay way too much money to be questioning your decision.

It will be interesting to see what's under there when everything melts!
