« on: December 02, 2006, 11:03:41 am »
Here are some pics that I took of our 3 dogs. I wanted a picture to put in our Christmas cards and since I have such a hard time getting them to sit still I put them in the back of my car and had my husband stand behind me with food. Don't mind how dirty they are the Arizona dust is TERRIBLE!!!  ::)

I'm having a TERRIBLE problem with Moose. He won't stop destroying stuff. :( He has eaten 3 cordless phones, the kitchen counter, numerous serving spoons, spatulas, my wallet, and now he broke the bathroom window. I haven't been able to find a crate big enough for him. He is huge and still growing. We used to lock him up in the kitchen using baby gates and EVERY night we would have to make sure that there was absolutely NOTHING on the counters or the top of the fridge. We would also have to make sure there was nothing in the dishwasher as he could open it. He has even tried to eat the metal burners on the stove. I even tried a muzzle, the muzzle was tight but not too tight, and I put the buckle of the muzzle around his collar but he still got the muzzle off and chewed it up. This morning we put him outside like we do EVERY morning and he tried to jump at the bathroom window to get back in the house after only being out for a few minutes and broke the window. I live in military housing and don't know how i'm going to afford paying for these damages. I don't think it could be an attention thing because he is in the house off and on during the day and every night we take him to the  field behind our house and run him. I just don't know what else to do about him destroying things. Any ideas?

Anything Non-Dog Related / My boys
« on: September 24, 2006, 01:43:06 pm »
Sorry it took me so long to post pictures. Things have been crazy with my trip to Texas to get the boys, and then trying to get them adjusted to being back with us. They seem to be adjusting very well. They love their baby sister, and their room. Here are some pictures of the boys. Richard is the one with blonde hair and he is 4 yrs old, but is only 27lbs and 33" tall. Jay is the darker haired boy he is 23 months old and is short but stalky. He weighs about 29lbs but is probably only 28 or 29" tall. Then Makaylee is 11 months old now. I am so glad that they have come back to us. Its been a long 13 months without them.

Anything Non-Dog Related / I'll be gone for a few days...wish me luck
« on: September 13, 2006, 01:30:56 am »
Well I leave today for my trip to get my boys. I am filled with a ton of different emotions. I am excited but at the same time scared to death. The foster mother that has the kids right now has been playing a LOT of games with CPS since she found out that the boys are leaving. So wish me luck, and keep us in your prayers. I'll post pictures when we get home. I'm gonna miss you guys  :-*

Great Dane Pictures / Outtakes of Moose for the photo contest
« on: July 26, 2006, 01:49:22 pm »
Here are some of the other pictures that we took when doing Moose's photo contest picture. We put Moose in my husbands work shirt and suprisingly it was tight on him. My husband is 6'3 and about 225lbs and his shirt was tight on my 6 month old puppy.  :o Anyways it was a lot of fun.

Anything Non-Dog Related / Prayers please
« on: July 21, 2006, 04:45:33 pm »
I received a phone call today from the attorney of the boys that we are adopting. She said that she has been working on the case however the foster family that has the kids has filed an intervention and wants to adopt them. Being that it is Friday and after 5 pm in Texas there is nothing I can do right now. I am absolutely devastated. Please keep us and the boys in prayers. Thanks everyone
