Food Discussion & Information / Well Switching Again

Hi,

What is the best way to switch over a Kibble? Winslow is just not working out on the Wellness, he has had 2 accidents in the house the last 2 days. He has never had that before!! he was house broken in 2 weeks when we brought him home. We had him on Science Diet large breed puppy and he was Great.

After some feedback from these boards I went with a Switch to Wellness due to better ingredients. He loves the food but just can't process it, like he did the Science Diet.

I am going with Canidae this time, should I just doo rice and Chiken till he firms up then mix in Canidae, or just slowly add canidae to the wellness?

Treatment & Preventative Meds / Mosquitos

Hi,

Well we went frontLine Plus for Ticks and Fleas. Because of the Advatix danger to our cat. I am still concerned about Mosquitos, we camp and winslow will Too. We want to water train and that means more Mosquito contact. Does any one use sprays or anything to help limit bites? I saw this and it looks like it may be a solution for some added insect protection.

Hi,

Well it is that time, we normally use Frontline Plus, but I see K9 Advantix at the same price and it "says" repels and kills Fleas, Ticks and MOSQUITO's.

What are you all using. We have plenty of mosquitos and if it does repel them I know Winslow would be happy!!

I plan on taking Winslow for a stroll in the woods Tomorrow around 1ish anyone local interested? The Lowell, Dracut Tyngsboro State Forest is dog friendly and nice.

What happened to the store? I ordered a T-shirt and can no longer find the store or the way to "veiw my account" for status of the order

Just confused any one experiencing the same thing?

Food Discussion & Information / Food Change Over

Hi,

We are into week 3 of Winslow's change from Science Diet Large breed Puppy to Wellness Super 5 Puppy. We made the change on meeting a beautiful 13 month old newf (Maya) and her Vet owner who swears by the Wellness food.

We did a week plus of mix and are now into a week plus of straight Wellness.Â Winslow's stool is still very loose, he stool was fine on Science diet but not adapting to the change yet. How long do I go before looking at a diet switch again.

Wellness is a much better quality food I'd like to stay with it but not at the expense of Winslow's system.
