Hi,

Winslow was on Canidae since 6 months old, Canidae switched the formula, went from a 40lbs to a 30lbs bag and raised the price so I switched him to Innova large bites green, Well 2 months later guess what Innova switched formula, bag size and raised prices!! Urrgh I just don't feel like switching again but we'll see!

Anyone buying on line and what have you found for pricing. Just looking to save some money on the food!!

Thanks for any leads!!

Hi,

Shop vac just put the hose on the exhaust end and blow dry away, the force is pretty good and the air doesn't get too hot for the puppers!!

When done drying put the hose back in the suction end and vacuum up all the hair you blew out!! Works like a charm!

Hi,

Holly is absolutely correct pretty much every breed we now know and own do not practice what they were Bred for, Newfs aren't working on fishing boats, Saints aren's just in the mountains serving brandy to the cold hikers, Pyres aren't gaurding herds exclusively. .. I can go on.

Banning the sport stops the overbreeding, the euthanizing of under achievers and hopefully all Grey's can find loving homes with big yards to run in all they want.

The Industry is bad and treats the animals horribly that is what this vote is stopping!! It does not stop Greyhound owners from raising them and letting them run!!

Election day is approaching and if you live in Massachusetts please read question 3 on the ballot and vote yes to eliminate greyhound racing in the state.

Hi,

I see it less as defending Vick's childhood but a bit more of a reflection on how Dog fighting came to be accepted in poorer communities (for lack of a better term)!

Even his (Vicks) sorry attempt at an apology, showed he understood he made poor decisions and choices and that he should have known better.

I feel bad for the guy who lost his job, but if Mike was JOE Blow he would have never gone to jail and wouldn't have paid the fines and sanctuary fee's.

The whole "industry" still would be underground and we never would have had an "animal Witness" documentary on dog fighting.

So there is a bit of a silver lining as the 100 million dollar man is in Jail and now and bankrupt for his own stupidity.

The world in general is a little more knowledgeble on the atrocity too

Hi,

Here is the link for the Breed Standard!! As long as you can feel the last ribs (with a little fat on them) you are doing fine!! All grow at their own rate!!

Hi,

Holly is the food Guru here ;-)

I agree on the ethics thing with Canidae, and will probably be moving to something different but for the short time (next few months) It is just more convenient for me, to stay on Canidae, and as long as Winslow looks and seems healthy I am not overly concerned but i do pay attention and will transition sooner if I/ he needs too.
