Hi Wendy,

I hope they get your package to you soon!!

I just want to stick up for UPS. At this time of year their volume of shipments goes up 100% that is a huge increase. I find it amasing that there are not more problems at this time of year for them.

Wendy as you stated both times you called you got a human being with a tolerable wait on the phone and a pleasant  representative . Imagine what working in that call center must be like in the WEEK BEFORE Christmas.

I know that doesn't put the gift in your son's hand but cut UPS some slack, they really do a fantastic Job 99% of the time.

Now a little note to the store might be in order, they should know no PO Boxes, especially if you sent them that information.

Happy Holidays to all and I hope all your packages get to you soon!!

Rich

Hi,

Winslow has the multiple K9's right now!! I keep a few soup bones (uncooked) around for him to knaw on. I get a bag from the supermarket and freeze them, I give him a frozen soup bone every few days and he chews away, I think the frozen bone is a little more soothing on his teeth, :D

And we notice a little blood on his favorite stuffed toys but he doesn't seem to notice at all.

Hi,

I think you are talking about the NCNE http://www.newfclubne.org/NCNE/Recent/ They had something in Westford MA back in October, We were going to go But I had an unexpected business trip come up. Had to go to London so no way I'd miss that chance, and the MRS didn't feel like going alone with the new pup.

Hi,

It really is like hockey, our kitchen opens into the living room so when he shoots a cube under the couch we both shout GOAL and get him another cube.

Hi,

Yup Ice Cubes make Winslow go nuts. He sits by the fridge and waits until someone hits the cube button then the Hockey begins!!

It is a ball to watch and no more water on the floor then when he drinks from his bowl so we let him have his fun.

Hi,

We are in the process of switching Winslow over from Science Diet Large breed Puppy to Wellness, (3 days in) So far he is doing well.

We had no problem with Science diet, at all, Wellness is a local company to us here in Massachusetts, the food gets real good reviews and we met a vet, newf owner, this weekend who highly recommended Wellness and her Girl Maya was absolutely gorgeous so we are giving it a try.

Hi,

Sorry the Job didn't happen. Their loss not yours!! 3/4's of a mile sounds like a nice walk with the dog, opps dogs you have multiple fur kids, so would be tough walking, although the return trip would probably made a fantastic post.

3 dogs and a pizza on the Icy roads.

Anky check this link http://www.oldmotherhubbard.com/about/positions.asp

They are HQ'd in North Chelmsford MA. Is that a reasonable commute for you?

Good Luck the right thing will come along for you.

Hi,

For some reason I didn't get a post update e-mail on the last 2 replies, so that is why I'm late replying back. Fumble, do you mean the Newfie fun day in Elliot Maine if so, yes we were there.

AC thanks for the Newfoundland "Newfie" update it is good to hear they are returning to their native soil for some future generations of the breed.
