my last dog a chow akita mix had a couple of kids in our neighbor hood he did not like at all and i could not understand until i caught then teasing and bugging him with sticks through our fence. so there could very well be a reason.  he also never forgot them either. patti

my last dog a chow akita mix was a wonderfully trained dog. but he was never social, he just liked his family and our other dog and a small world to guard. we would go for walks, which he loved but he was always too much on guard to be social to strangers and other animals.  he never attacked anything or anyone, because we worked so hard on training but you could just see him change when someone wanted to pet or come up to us while out. with his family he was just a big suck. patti

i thought it was pretty funny, third times a charm as this was the 3rd time he tried to sit in this chair and i managed to get the picture as he was stuck.  had to pretty well lift him to get him out.  and no ozzy and mr.jiggs arent related, just both adorable.

i am no expert but i believe that nomatter what you started feeding your dogs, improving on their food will make a difference. i started my newf on nutro large breed puppy and was quite happy with it, but at 6 months for some stupid reason i changed to purina one for a while, was not as impressed as some lead me to believe how good it was. now feed eagle pack large and giant and notice a big difference in hair and coat, and less yard cleanup. i am sure you will notice a difference also. patti

i have never heard of swimmers itch on a dog, does this happen.  i had the same thing with my newf, thought it was a staph infection but it has seemed to clear up itself. so do you think it was swimmers itch?
