I too emailed the address in the original post and have not gotten a response.  You would think if they were that desperate to get her placed, they would respnd to the emails.

Marinafb- that wasn't the person I was in contact with- she IS willing to take this girl in.  I am sending her the link to jump in here and see what she can do.

Ack.  Okay, so apparently THAT isn't going to work.   Anyone have the time/inclination to help her get to me? I can certainly foster her til a forever home is found, but I am not physically able to drive to pick her up and bring her home.   email is mblake(at)localnet.com

An afterthought- I can refer this girl to Mastiffs Unlimitted of NY and see if they have anyone waiting for a nice girl, as well.

Hey! Wait a minute!.....  Can *I* get some cuddles from the sweet baby?  If not, I might hafta tell! ;)

The girl I forwarded the info to, Gina, said she was waiting to hear back from her friend, who was supposed to be talking to Denise at that time, and would let me know. Haven't heard anything back yet. Gina also stated that if that didn't work out, and the mastiff needed a foster situation, she would take her without a problem.

The guy is a loser! Tell your daughter he only said those things because she proved she was much more intelligent at her age than he will ever be, and the only way he could handle that was to be mean.

352
The person I forwarded it to is on it- she says she has someone who is looking for an adult mastiff, and would provide an excellent home.

I just forwarded the message to a mastiff lover in Utica- if I hear back from her I will post her response here.   As of the last time I checked, she has 7 mastiffs in her family already, and all are well cared for house-family members.

Any news on these guys?  I have been thinking of Phoebe a lot since I saw this post.  Too bad I am so far away and cannot handle the long ride to pick her up.

Old English Mastiff Pictures / Re: Imani & Frankie Pictures

Imani weighs about 180 lbs, and 28" at the shoulder, at 23 months old.   Frankie is probably about 120-130 Lbs, and 30" at the shoulders at almost 8 months old.

If I could manage to drive down to pick  Phoebe up, I would give her a forever home. It sounds like she would fit in perfectly with my two english mastiff girls, and we have no young children at home- youngest will be 18 in July.   And of course everybody lives inside, and goes out to play frequently!

Those guys are probably still hiding under the bed afraid Cassie might just be able to open his front door and come in to "visit".

I think for something like that, my girls would learn how to open the fridge themselves!

Thyroid issues can trigger aggressive behavior in dogs- might want to have a blood test done to see if thats it.
