I hear ya. Sometimes you read something and it just strikes an 'off' note. I'd be suspicious too. Hope this one turns out to be legit.

What about contacting the national club and asking them if this is one they recognize or have affiliations with?

Happy 5th Birthday, Butt! Don't worry, half of that extra 11 pounds will be lost when you finish blowing your winter coat!! Just ask Raemi, she actually has hips again :)

Saint Bernard General Discussions / Re: How tall is your Saint?

He may, fractionally, but by now most of his 'upward' growth should be finished. Some lines mature slower than others but I believe this refers more to filling out and losing that gawky puppy look, than to gaining more height. Happy 18 Month Birthday, Tub!

Sounds to me like Buble has taken it upon himself to start getting you accustomed to those 2am and 4am baby feeding times. No need to set your alarm, Buble will 'call' you when it's time for the baby's bottle :) Really though, have you tried having a vigorous playtime before bed? Maybe if he was 'worn out' he might sleep a little harder?

Right hand: Smooth, rough, smooth, rough Left Hand: Rough, smooth, rough, smooth - Or - Right hand: Smooth, smooth, rough, rough Left Hand: Rough, rough, smooth, smooth -Or... The possibilities are endless ;D ;D Just trying to be helpful!! Seriously, they look wonderful, you must be very proud.

Hope your baby is soon feeling better. I know how miserable it can make them feel, my boy Drago (12/1994 - 07/2002),had it when he was around 8 or 9 months old. Here are a couple good links containing information on pano.

Gods be thanked she was dropped in the parking lot and not in deep water somewhere! She's a lovely little pup, I'm sure you wont have any trouble placing her. So, if you ever find out who did it would you like some help in showing them what really inventive things can  be done with wire and binder twine? Karma's not the b*tch, payback is!

She is just loverly! Terrific pix.

Have you tried contacting any of the co-ordinators on this  transport list?
http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/DogTransport/

If a run is put together bringing puppers north from GA perhaps they could add your Molly. I try to take a "leg", when one comes through my area of S.W.PA, especially if it's a Big Paw. If you get a run set up and it comes through here, I'd be happy to take part.

Boy, can I relate! The first Saint we had was in the early 70's and this was all new to us. We were attending obedience class in our air base's rec center when some zoomie came up to admire 'Sundance'. Of course he had had a Saint, "maybe mixed with some thing else", that weighed....and here he looked at the Dancer and you could just see him trying to figure out how much he might weigh. And of course his just had to weigh more, so he says... 600 pounds!! I'm trying desperately to keep a straight face while my husband gravely and sincerely replies, "Wow, I'll bet he was part bear". Delighted with having impressed us the young man agreed to that possibility and walked proudly away. Sometimes you just have to accept the futility of trying to educate the profoundly ignorent. My pet peeve is the folks with small dogs who think it is so very funny that their little "FiFi" can charge up to the big dog and bark hysterically in it's face until it 'runs away'. It never seems to occur to them that if we didn't have our big guys well socialized and well trained, FiFi could die! As for those actually wanting to see dogs fight, all I can do is agree with 4 leaf clover, too few bullets! It really is unfortunate that there are  soooo many people out there without the brains the gods gave a chicken.

I think such an elegant lady deserves a truly elegant chair. Move that undersized piece of furniture out from in front of the window and put this in its place!

Congratulation s on your new arrival, she is beautiful. And, it's true, the amount of white she has is no indication of the purity of her breeding. It just indicates she's probably a 'splash' coat rather than a 'mantle'. Whichever, she looks just adorable! Much joy, health and long life to your new baby girl.
